Read and answer the following questions:

Sample 1:
Students have different ways in processing information; some may prefer a-udio-visual
presentation; others drama and imitating or reasoning logically and intuitively, or
analyzing and envisioning. Teacher style also vary. Some professors used traditional
way of teaching; others used the new trend in technology; some focus on principles
and others on presentations.
When the learning style of professors are incompatible, the students may become
inattentive, distracted, uninterested, their achievement level goes down, and eventually
leads to school dropout. For intervention used in this study is the student’s devises
games-simulation. Games-simulation is introduced as a method in teaching in medical
fields recently through interactive video games (Rosser, Lynch, Caddihy, Gentile,

Performance Task 4 Writing Research Background (10pts)

(Refer to the title you had crafted in Performance 2)

Direction: Write at least 3 Research questions from the Title you had crafted above.

1. ______________________________________________________________________________
2. ______________________________________________________________________________
3. ______________________________________________________________________________

Rubrics: Refer to the statement below:

 Start asking questions. Taking into consideration all of the above, start asking
yourself open-ended “how” and “why” questions about your general topic.

 Evaluate your question. After enlisting the questions, evaluate these questions
to realize if they would be effective research questions, or if they need more
revisions (Creswell, 2012).

Performance Task 5 Writing Scope and Delimitation (10pts)

Direction: Follow the guidelines below:

Guidelines in writing the scope and delimitation

The scope and delimitations should include the following:

1. A brief statement of the general purpose of the study.
2. The subject matter and topics studied and discussed.
3. The locale of the study, where the data were gathered or the entity to which the data
belong.
4. The population or universe from which the respondents were selected. This must be
large enough to generalizations significant.
5. The period of the study. This is the time, either months or years, during which the
data were gathered.

From the title you had crafted write below its Scope and Delimitation

Performance Task 7 Conceptual Framework, Definition of Terms and Hypothesis

Directions: Consider the title you had crafted and the variable you are going to study.
Make sure it will answer the following questions:
What are the variables implied from the background information/scenario?

What are the ideas/concepts linked with variables?

What are the theories that can be related with the identified concepts?

Fill in the conceptual Frame work below. (20pts)

The scope and delimitation of a research study should include the general purpose, the subject matter and topics studied, the study locale, the population from which data are gathered, and the period of study. These elements are important because they define the boundaries of the study, clarify its focus, and ensure that conclusions are valid and applicable to specific contexts .

When assessing the appropriateness of a source for in-depth versus background research, researchers should consider the depth of analysis, specificity, credibility, and the level of peer-reviewed evidence. Scholarly journal articles, with their detailed and focused research, are more suitable for in-depth study compared to encyclopedias or almanacs, which provide broader overviews .

When teachers' instructional styles do not align with students' learning preferences, students may become inattentive, distracted, and uninterested, which can lead to decreased achievement levels and increased dropout rates. These challenges emphasize the need for adaptable teaching methods that cater to diverse learning styles to enhance educational outcomes .

Evaluating and revising research questions during the initial stages of a project is important because it ensures that the questions are both feasible and significant. This process helps refine the focus of the study, aligns the research design with the objectives, and increases the likelihood of generating meaningful and applicable results .

Research can contribute to community improvement during crises like the COVID-19 pandemic by providing data-driven recommendations for preventive measures, influencing policy decisions, and identifying effective intervention strategies. This can empower communities to respond proactively, minimize the spread of disease, and support public health initiatives .

Identifying variables and theoretical concepts in a study's background information influences the development of its conceptual framework by linking empirical data with theoretical perspectives. This connection facilitates hypothesis formulation, guides methodological decisions, and ensures coherent integration of theory and practical observations within the research .

Quantitative research benefits senior high school students by providing structured, data-driven analysis that can inform decision-making and contribute to more effective teaching strategies. This approach helps students develop critical thinking and analytical skills, as they learn to interpret data and understand complex concepts through empirical evidence .

Background research plays a crucial role in familiarizing researchers with relevant terminology and refining the scope of their study by providing an overview of existing knowledge in the field. It helps identify research gaps, informs the development of research questions, and narrows the focus to specific, well-defined topics that contribute to scholarly discourse .

A well-crafted research title is crucial in academic writing because it provides a concise overview of the study's focus, ensuring clarity and specificity. According to APA guidelines, a title should not exceed twelve substantive words, which requires the title to be both precise and informative, enhancing its academic tone without unnecessary length .

A well-defined statement of the problem enhances the direction and focus of a research study by clearly outlining the study's objectives, methodological framework, and research questions. It serves as a guide for structuring the research process, ensuring that the study remains aligned with its initial goals and facilitates accurate data collection and analysis .
