1. Let’s talk about Family
Tell me about your family.
What kind of things do you and your family do together?
=>We often watch TV and cook together. And sometimes we go shopping at the
weekend, about twice a week.
Who does the housework in your family?
My father does the housework. And sometimes I help him.
Would you prefer to have a larger or smaller family?
I would prefer to have a smaller family because living in a smaller family,
members can have their own spaces.
2. Let’s talk about Cooking
Can you cook? =? Yes, I can but I can’t cook very well.
Who usually does the cooking in your home? => my mother usually does the
cooking in my home because she is very good at cooking.
How do people usually learn to cook in your country?
people usually learn to cook in my country by reading cook books, or watching
cooking show on Tv or learning cooking experience from members in family.
What are the advantages of being able to cook?
I think the advantages of being able to cook is that you can eat healthily
3. Let’s talk about Weddings
Have you ever been to a wedding? Yes, I have. I have ever been to some weddings
of my friends.
What do people usually do at weddings in your country?
People usually eat, drink and dance at the weddings. They send best wishes for the
family.
What clothes do people usually wear at weddings in your country?
=> people usually wear dress for women and suit for men.
Which people are usually invited to weddings?
=>They are often close friends and relatives (họ hàng)
4. Let’s talk about Public transport
What types of public transport can be found in your city?
=> public transport can be found in my city are buses, coaches, and taxi
What types of public transport do you use most?
I use the bus most because it is cheap and easy to take a bus.
Are there any public transport problems in your city?
There are some problems such as the bus is often slow and the taxi is often very
expensive.
How would you improve the public transport system in your country?
 I think it should be having more buses and the price for the taxi should be
cut down
5. Let’s talk about Travelling
How much travelling have you done?
=>Not much because I am busy I don’t have money.
Do you prefer travelling alone or in a group?
=>I prefer travelling in a group. Because it is same and funnier than travelling
alone.
When you visit new places, what do you like to do?
=> When I visit new places, I like taking pictures, going sightseeing and trying to
eat local food.
What places would you like to visit in the future?
I would like to visit Da Nang city in the future because I heard many great things
about DN from my friends and on TV so I want to discover it by myself.

Do you like your name? =>Yes, I do.
Does your name have any special meaning? => No, I don’t./ Yes, I do. My name
refers to the happiness, the success, the rich….
Who usually chooses babies’ names in your country?
I think grandparents or parents are usually the people who choose names for
babies.
Would you ever change your name?
=>No, I like my name, I don’t want to change it because that is the name my
grandparents gave it to me.
7. Let’s talk about Birthdays
How are birthdays usually celebrated in your country?
People often have a party with friends and family to celebrate their birthdays in my
country.
What gifts so people receive on their birthdays in your country?
=>The gifts are often clothes, books, bikes, watches, or flowers and so on…
Do people eat special food on their birthdays in your country?
No, they don’t. The food is often birthday cakes and a lot candies.
8. Let’s talk about Seasons (mùa)
Tell me about the seasons in your country?
=>There are 4 seasons in my country. They are spring, summer, autumn and
winter.
What is your favorite season? => My favorite season is summer because I don’t
have to go to school and I can go to beach to relax
Do the seasons affect people’s behavior?
Yes, I think it does. For example, in the summer, the weather is hot so people like
staying indoor. Or in winter, it is cold and people don’t want to go out.
Do you wear different clothes in different seasons?
Yes, I do of course.

Do you like taking photographs of new places?
=>Yes, I do. That’s my favorite hobby when I was a student.
Is photograph popular in your country?
Yes, It is very popular because it helps people save their best moment.
What kinds of photographs do you like looking at?
 I like looking at photographs of flowers, beautiful places and wild animals.
Would you prefer to buy a postcard or take a photograph of new places?
=>I would prefer to take a photograph of new places because I take lot pictures of
it, it is also cheaper than buying a postcard.

=>They are often the high buildings with 2-3 floors. They are new and modern

=>I prefer new buildings
Are historical buildings important?
=>Yes, they are. They are very important because they help us learn about the
history.

=>No, I don’t want to live in an old building because it is not safe as the new
building.
