How did the Filipinos travel through the years?
The Filipinos have traveled through the years by various means of transportation. In pre-colonial times,
Filipinos traveled mostly by foot, using trails and footpaths to navigate the archipelago. They also used
watercraft like the balangay, a traditional boat made from wood, for sea travel. During the Spanish
colonial period, the Spaniards introduced horses and carriages, which were used by the nobility and
wealthy Filipinos. The Spanish also built roads and bridges, making land travel easier and more
accessible. In the early 20th century, the Americans introduced modern transportation such as trains,
buses, and automobiles, which became widely used by Filipinos. The introduction of the jeepney, a
modified military jeep, also became a popular mode of transportation in the Philippines. Today, Filipinos
have access to a wide range of transportation options, including buses, taxis, tricycles, motorcycles, and
private cars. Public transportation is widely available in major cities, while inter-island travel is facilitated
by air and sea travel.
What were the reasons Filipino travel?
Filipinos have traveled throughout history for various reasons, including trade, migration, tourism,
religious pilgrimage, family visits, education, and sports/leisure. Travel was initially done by foot and
boat, and later on, horses, carriages, and modern transportation such as trains, buses, and automobiles.
Today, Filipinos have access to a wide range of transportation options, including public transportation
and inter-island air and sea travel.
Why did foreigners come to our shores?
Foreigners have come to the Philippines for different reasons such as trade, colonization, missionary
work, military presence, tourism, employment, education, and diplomatic relations. Chinese, Indian, and
Arab traders initially came to the Philippines to exchange goods. The Spanish and the Americans came to
expand their territories and establish political and economic control. Christian missionaries came to
spread the Christian faith, while foreign tourists come to explore the country’s natural beauty and
immerse themselves in its culture. Foreigners also come for work opportunities, education, and to
establish diplomatic relations with the country.
What places in the country have you visited?
The places I’ve visited especially in our province of Bohol is the Chocolate Hill and, Blood Compact
Shrine and I also visit in other provinces like Talamban Cebu and Toledo City.
What places in the country would you like to visit?
The places that I would like to visit is in Cebu especially the Simala and also I want to visit all tourist
attractions and destination in Cebu before travelling other places again.

the details of this issue as it was extensively covered by the media. In your opinion, what was the right
thing to do? Cite some laws that will justify your answer? What was the verdict of the court? Do you
agree? What was the basis of the court decisions?
In the case of Imelda Marcos vs The Honorable Sandiganbayan, G.R. Nos. 115132-34, the
Supreme Court dismissed the case. It ruled that the motion should be addressed to the
Sandiganbayan not only because whether petitioner should be allowed to leave the country is
its primary concern, but also because the determination of petitioner’s eye condition is a
question of fact to be made in the first instance by the Sandiganbayan. If my opinion would be
given merit, I will still retain my answer. In the foregoing case citation, the supreme court
determined and established that Mrs. Marcos is suffering from a dangerous level of rises in
blood pressure provoked by high level of emotional stress and now complicated with a strong
evidence of myocardial injury. All the attendant facts supported by medical records place this
patient in the high risk category of sudden cardiac death. Moreover, we should adhere to the
paramount constitutional right of a person provided under the Bill of Rights that a person shall
not be deprived of life, liberty and property.
