Questions:
1. Please identify and analyze the meaning of the word class “round” & “daily” in
each of the following by explaining your answers clearly.
E.g. When will you come round again? (adverb)

2. Please draw generalized phrase structure rules/ tree diagram.

3. Analyze each sentence into its clauses and state the type of each clause – main clause,

c. I am looking for a secretary who can use a computer well.
d. As he was not there, I left a message with his mother.
e. Janet doesn’t like the table that stands in the kitchen.
4. Write the clauses: noun clause, relative clause and adverbial clause.

5. Give an active (not passive) sentence where the verb “signed” occurs with a subject
which is:

text below and try to determine types of non-finite clauses.
