Many people write a wrong description.
They mix the description with another information like
narrative text/narration (story) that does not describe the characteristics. To identify if it is a narration,
you can see the sentence will focus on the series of event (in Indonesian: rangkaian kejadian).
Exercise
Please examine these 8 texts which one is a pure descriptive text*, which one is not. If it is a pure
descriptive, you will write "yes". If it is not the pure descriptive, you will write "no" and give your reason
why it is not.
