Designer – Joanna Gaines
Joanna Gaines is a talented interior designer, who has achieved a lot. She has gotten a
bachelor’s degree in communication. Joanna Gaines background is one-quarter
German, one-quarter Lebanese, and half Korean. Her design is affected by the environment
around her, as well her ability to incorporate unique materials into one design. Joanna
Gaines is well known for her skills to flip, recreate and remodel homes. She is also known as
the co-founder of Magnolia, a company of hers. She is very well known for her talent to use
natural materials, such as dried flowers, real woods, and metals to make her design. There
are many factors that affect her work. She uses natural materials that are sustainable, which
affects the overall impact the work has on the buyer.
Joanna Gaines is a very talented designer and is very inspiring to many new designers.
There are many things from her work and designs that inspire me. Her style is very inspiring.
The ways she uses natural woods in her work is something that looks good, which also
impacts the overall appearance of her final products, this is something that I find inspiring
and something that I really want to incorporate in my own designs. There are many ways
that I can take inspiration from her work. By using similar products to her, is a way that I
can take inspiration from her work. Analysing her designs and putting my own twist on it is
something that I would do when I want to take inspiration from Joanna Gaines work.

The impact of the wood gives an overall earthy feel to
the design. The vibe from the design is very
comforting as well as a sort of cottage impact. The
ways she has used wood and timber flooring shows
me that she is capable of using different types of
woods and is still able to get such stunning results.
The layout of the room is basically a kitchen followed

In this design Joanna Gaines uses her talent to use wood in a
very minimalistic way, which gives the room a sophisticated
feeling. The contrast of wood and white, emphasises on the use
of wood, making it look more prominent. The way Joanna
Gaines uses shapes, adds to the design, making it look better
and more appealing. Another product that she has used is the
metal framing around the fire, this gives it a contrast to
everything else in the area, since nothing else really has the
black in it. The layout is very interesting, but in a good way.
This design of Joanna Gaines shows me that she can be
minimalistic but also make something so simple look appealing.

Joanna Gaines uses a very different approach to this specific design of
hers. This is one of the designs that is overall emphasising the use fabric,
instead of wood. Even though the floor is timber, it isn’t what is standing
out the most about this piece of design. The genre of this design I feel is
elegant with a sense of modern. The chandeliers are really elegant but
also give a sense of modernness and it shows her sense of how she can
combine two different styles and still present a very pretty design. The
layout of this room is a living area, with a kitchen and dining area behind
it.
