Transport of copies:
This will be done by basis. Used for take a copy of one server to other, like development to quality
server. Transaction code SE01.

What is the reason for using TOC?

TOC will create only copy of the transport request. So, if any modification required in the quality
server, can made changes on that existing transport request, which is available in development
server and again take a TOC, move to quality server. In the case if transport request was moved one
server to other server, modifications are not reflected on the receiving server.

1. Under transports tab enter the user name


2. Select transport of copies
3. Choose modifiable
4. Click create.

1. Enter short description
2. Choose target system
3. Save TOC.

Once transport request was created, need to push child transport copy into transport copy. Shown
in below image.

Once done the above process all the configurations available for that child transport request will
copy to TOC.

Then need to release this copied transport request, then only basis team will import this into
quality server.

Move transport request:
This process is used for move transport request from development server to production server.

Choose customizing requests, and press enter or else create new transport request.

1. Release child transport request


2. Release parent transport request

Now basis team will import this transport request to production server.

Copy transport request from client to client (Within server):


This process is used for move transport request from one client to other client within same server,
like production. Transaction code SCC1.

1. Enter source client and transport request number (parent/child TR)


2. Run start immediately.
