PROCEDURE

ENGLISH

Hello! My name is Alex Trujillo Benites and these are my classmates’ names: Christian

Cruz Aponte, Jhon López Arrieta y Freddy Coronado Castañeda.

Today, I’m going to make a presentation about our daily routine.

To begin with, I am twenty years old and I am a student at the PNP School of Higher

Technical Professional Education in Trujillo. Also, I am a responsible, punctual and

persevering person.

Our routine at school starts at 5:00 a.m., we always get up at that time to brush our

teeth, make our beds and put on our uniform to make calisthenics.

After exercising, we showered and got ready to go to the school canteen for breakfast.

At 8:00 a.m., we attend our scheduled classes. At 1:20 p.m., we go to the dining room

for lunch. Then, we return to classes at 3:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Next, we go to our rooms to get ready quickly and go out to form lines to the patio to go

to dinner.

We usually have dinner at 7:00 p.m.. Al terminar, regresamos a nuestros cuartos para

asearnos e ir hacer nuestras tareas.

Sometimes we fall asleep at 09:30 p.m. because we have to fulfill all our

responsibilities.

Finally, this is our routine at school from Monday to Saturday. We do all this while

continuing to do the services that we have to each one.

ESPAÑOL

¡Hola!

desayunar.

A las 8:00 a.m., asistimos a nuestras clases programadas. A la 01:20 p.m. vamos al

comedor a almorzar.

FINDINGS

ENGLISH
Know the difference between present simple and present continuous so as not to make

mistakes when we describe our routine, habitual or permanent actions. Instead, the

present continuous is used to describe actions that are happening when we speak, are

continuing, or are taking place in the near future.

6
CONCLUSION

ENGLISH
The routine described above is about what a student of the PNP School of Higher

Technical Professional Education normally does.

Common questions

Powered by AI

A strictly scheduled routine might enhance discipline and time management but could also limit autonomy, potentially impacting personal growth as students may become reliant on external structures rather than developing self-directed habits .

This distinction helps in clear communication, especially in a learning environment. Routine actions, denoted by the present simple, indicate habitual activities, while actions in progress, denoted by the present continuous, show ongoing activities, preventing misunderstandings .

Understanding these differences is essential for describing actions correctly. The present simple tense describes habitual or permanent actions, which is ideal for daily routines, while the present continuous is for actions occurring at the moment of speaking or in the near future .

The routine illustrates a balance between physical activity, academic commitment, and rest, suggesting that students are trained to manage different aspects of life efficiently, which may contribute to holistic development .

Key activities include waking up early, adhering to meal times, attending scheduled classes, and completing tasks before bedtime, which show time management and prioritization as they fulfill both academic and personal obligations .

The PNP daily routine serves as a model by demonstrating the benefits of structured time allocation, discipline, and responsibility, which can be adopted by other institutions to improve student outcomes and professionalism .

The structured routine promotes punctuality, responsibility, and perseverance, which are crucial professional skills. The adherence to strict schedules and fulfilling academic and personal responsibilities instill discipline and time management .

Students might face fatigue and stress from the early mornings and long days. Overcoming these challenges can involve time management strategies, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring adequate rest and recovery .

The routine reflects discipline through structured schedules and punctuality, starting with waking up at 5:00 a.m. for calisthenics, followed by a regimented schedule for meals, classes, and personal tasks .

The present simple tense is used to describe actions that are regular and permanent, reflecting a consistent and repetitive schedule that is typical of a disciplined educational environment like the PNP School .
