Background and Rationale
I am a student at the Dominica State College pursuing an Associate of Science in Business
Administration (General). This topic was chosen to create awareness to audience about how
social media affects youths of the current generation. Throughout the research, sources found
contained fair to substantial information relevant to the topic.

content are the impacts social networking has on youth. It is true that social media allows one to
connect to friends or maybe a relative living far away but what if instead of it bringing joy it

Many youths look at images of celebrities and models who’ve had cosmetic surgery and think
