My Last Holiday: A Listening Exercise

Last winter, the narrator went on a holiday to Marquelia, Mexico with their father. They traveled by car which was tiring, but the narrator was excited to visit family. Over the two-week stay, they visited Playa Tortuga and Playa Aquetzalli beaches. They spent time playing soccer on the beach, swimming in the sea, eating local seafood, and watching their father sing and play guitar. The best part was watching the sunset with palm trees along the shore, which felt like being in a movie. They celebrated New Year's Eve by staying up all night.

My Last Holiday

and sunny. That’s what I love the most about the

beach.

But the best thing was to watch the sunset. There were palm trees around the

seashore and the sun was fall down slowly. It was like being in a film.

Finally, my family and I celebrated New Year’s Eve, so we were up all night.
