Presentation of the Problem

In the 21 st Century the use of technology in teaching learning process in an important

aspect which cannot be ignored at any level. Laptops, tablets, iPads, Smart Phones are being

extensively used for importing education in place of books and notebooks. Now a days

Internet is used for searching desired information instead of searching in library. Students

prefer the use of technology in learning process because it makes the topic/subject more

interesting and understandable. Technology enables the student to learn at their own pace and

as per their own interest. Student can learn the matter according to their abilities and needs.

Historical Background

Media literacy education in the Philippines is actively focused on the instructional

methods and pedagogy of media literacy integrating theoretical and critical frameworks. This

work has arisen from a legacy of media and technology use in education throughout the 20 th

century and the emergence of cross-disciplinary work at the intersections of scholarly work in

media studies and education. Two issues are identifying for their potential to impact the

future field.

Geographical Background

Amaya school of home industries is a high school located in Sahud-Ulan, Tanza

Cavite the school was established by virtue or republic act No. 3927 which was approved on

June 18, 1964. It is a technical school Which trains the skill of their students before they find

Research Gap

Based on the information that we got while conducting our research. We discover

that there is a problem on some of the students. They are not aware of how-to proper use of

computer in school because they are familiar with it. Some of them are also interested in

technology because it’s not their passion. But aside from that there are some students who are

willing to learn. So that's the reason they picked this specialization because our world right

now revolves around technology.

Rationale of The Study

The purpose of the use of technology in the classroom is to engage students in active

and hands on learning. Technology allows students to create; explore, design, and express

their learning in varies ways and to multiple people.

Statement of the Problem

This study's man objective is to analyze the important of technology on student

learning outcomes, teacher effectiveness, and overall educational experience. We also intend

to identify the challenges and limitations of integrating technology in the classroom and

provide recommendations for effective implementation. The central question of the study is

directed as “How technology can enhance education and contribute for better leanings

outcomes for student?” that is specifically seeks to answer the following question:
4

1. What are the benefits of using technologies in education?

2. What kind of technology can be developed to provide students with a better and faster

education?

3. How can teacher effectively integrate technology in the classroom to enhance student

leaning outcomes and improve overall educational experience?

Scope And Delimitation

The Study covers is how the study and importance of technology to students is to

give students knowledge and advance in use technologies. Students are able to benefit from

the use of technology in most subject areas within the curriculum to enhance overall

engagement and understanding of content. The boundaries of this study are that this is only

exclusive for Grade 11 CSS students in Amaya School of Home Industries and does not

cover any other CSS students in other school. Contribution of the study the study

contributes to how technology help CSS students. In studying, for example: what you can

find in books you can find online with your device. The beneficiaries of this study are the

Grade 11 student and bellow they will have the benefits after our research is done. It will help

them by knowing what the is the importance of technology of Grade 11 student so they can

use their own technology to help their study not only the Grade 11 student will have the
