Sema groups is an international software house and outsourcing company and I work in their Payment
solution department during my service. My job duties involve daily production support of AIG Credit Card
Center composed of multiple countries including HK, TAIWAN and PHILIPPINES. They uses SG CardLinK
as their Credit card system which is written in COBOL/CICS/JCL under MVS operating system and HSM as
the security module. There are also many supporting tools in the mainframe including Endevor/Control-
M/Control-D/File-Aid and PDM.

In my three year service, the most challenging project is the implementation and launch of AIG-HK credit
card system in year 2000 which used less than one year’s time. That involves liaison with external parties
such as VISA and MasterCard. Also, there are many innovative sub-systems such as Bonus Point system
and Insurance Program which need to be developed within a short period of time to meet the ever-changing
market.
