1. How will you differentiate hiking from trekking?

Trekking and hiking are two distinct verbs. While trekking includes the word walk for a long period of
time, hiking only uses the word walk briefly. Hiking is done for enjoyment to calm the mind and re-
connect with nature. Trekking is a leisure activity with a specific destination.

You can go hiking overnight. Trekking is an activity that can take place anywhere and last for several
days. Short day hikes and overnight excursions are both types of hiking. Depending on how long it takes
to reach the goal, trekking can be more than two days. Typically, a daypack with a bottle of water, a
meal, and extra clothing is used for hiking. You must bring a tent, sleeping bag, food, cookware, clothing,
medicine, and extras when hiking.

2. Between hiking and trekking, which on do you believe can be manage by your capacity?.

When comes to stamina and body condition, I think hiking would be manageable than trekking, because
in hiking the trails or roads were already taken or made which likely it is clear of tall grasses which can
cause itchiness in my skin, and also hiking is as long distance walk as trekking.

3. How will you explain the importance of hiking and trekking to your physical and mental health?

Hiking is the best and most significant technique to renew our positive ideas, eliminate stress and
anxiety issues, recover from cardiac conditions including heart attacks, and reduce stress on both our
mind and heart.

To achieve our state of mind, trekking activities require our complete attention. In order to achieve our
goals and strengthen our thinking in preparation for our future problems, it aids us in pushing ourselves.

4. What do you perceive as barriers in performing hiking and trekking? What can you do to overcome
these barriers?.

For me I think the thing that hinders me forom doing hiking or trekking is my physical condition. I have
low stamina, and sensitive skin. And inorder to overcome this hindrances I need to build my stamina by
constantly or regular taking jog every morning and when it comes to my sensitive skin I need to be fully
dress or outfit before going or doing hiking and trekking.

Rock climbing is an activity that an

more easily and will not lead to physical exhaustion in a certain part of your body.

In all the types of rock climbing, Trad climbing would be the one I am most confident in doing physically
and mentally. Due to its nature being fully geared and have predetermined ropes and destination.

do you think are the barriers that would stop a person from choosing the sport?

Rock climbing is a physically and mentally demanding sports because we have to be always conscious
and awareness to the surroundings specially to the things that you are holding on, coupled with long
hours of physical labor like holding or steadying your entire body to not fall or made mistakes.

The possible barriers that could stop an individual to do rock climbing are being afraid of heights and
being physical weak

4. What are the barriers to your physical activities? How would you overcome them?

The only thing that keeps me out in doing physical activity is that I am physically weak and low on
stamina. And to overcome this I have to regularly have a light exercise constantly like jogging. And if I am
confident in moving to the next level I would do running.
