Could your ex just be using you for sex?
I know that it can sometimes FEEL like you’re headed in the right
direction with your ex when you’re making that physical connection.
But what are your ex’s true intentions?
Especially if they just end up going right back into their rebound’s
arms?
…Or if they shut down emotionally afterward?
Is It Good to Have Sex with Your Ex or Not?
Okay, so what should you do? Should you have sex, hoping that the
closeness will help bring your ex back? Or should you withhold it until
you know it’s safe to trust them to stick around?
As, is usually the case, the truth is more complicated than a simple
yes or no answer.
Here’s what you need to know before making a choice:
Sex Will Not Save Your Relationship
Don’t think that sex will save your relationship.
And don’t think that sex will keep you out of the “friend zone” with your
ex (you’re not in the friend zone anyway… no matter what your ex
says to you!)
The truth is that if you focus too much on sex, you’re going to
undernourish the emotional connection you have with your ex.
Sure, you might end up having sex.
But if the emotional connection is lacking, don’t expect it to blossom
into anything substantial due to sex alone.
You HAVE to nurture the emotional side too.
That’s why I talk so much about developing a strong emotional
connection with your ex with the Advanced Relational Skills in the
Ex Solution Program.
So, Should You Have Sex or Not?
Here’s the simple answer.
If you have a strong emotional connection with them, sex probably
isn’t likely to hurt anything at all.
If you’re lacking a strong emotional connection, then you should
probably focus more on developing that emotional connection first.
If you need some help strengthening your emotional connection with
your ex, then the best place to start is with the Advanced Relational
Skills in the Ex Solution Program.

PS: Also, I want to remind you that you should never have sex with
anyone unless you can feel 100% good about it regardless of what
happens afterward.
Don’t have sex just because you think it’ll make your ex come back.
If you choose to have sex do it because you would enjoy it for what it
is and nothing more.
