1. REFERENCE: A telephone call from a concerned citizen received by PO1. Meliza
Baliguat, of Municipal Police of San Isidro, Davao Oriental.
2. WHAT: Stabbing incident happened at the pathway of first room of Criminology
building of Davao Oriental State University – San Isidro Extension Campus. In San
Isidro, Davao Oriental.
3. WHEN: On October 28, 2022 at about 1030H in the morning.
4. WHERE: Sitio Malcabac, Batobato, San Isidro, Davao Oriental.
5. WHO: Fled Suspect;
Jaimefer Orbuda, 27 yrs old, Male, Married, Construction worker, resident of
Purok Waling-waling, Baybay, Batobato, San Isidro, Davao Oriental.
Victim;
Jovelyn Orbuda, 29 yrs old, Female, Married. A Businesswoman, and resident
of Purok Waliing-waling Baybay, Batobato, San Isidro, Davao Oriental.
6. HOW: Multiple Stabbing
7. SUMMARY: Initial investigation revealed that while the victim, one Jovelyn
Orbuda. She was alone walking on the pathway. The suspect her husband arrived
into drunk stated and awhile of talking they got argued about to the land property
they owned. The suspect tried to sale the property and forcing her wife to sign the
deed of sale. But eventually they resulted into a heated alteration. Suspect got their
bladed weapon and stabbed the victim hit at her lower left portion of abdomen and at
her rights chest of the victim’s body. The personnel of San Isidro Police Station
headed by the SPO1 Thea Marfa immediately responded at the crime scene and the
perpetrator last seen by the witnesses around 1046H in the morning. Running away
from the pathway to the outside of Davao Oriental State University-San Isidro
Extension Campus with a bloody hands and visible blood stain on his clothes. The
Police and other Law Enforcer got hot pursuit operation to arrest the fled suspect.
The victim was rushed to Davao Oriental Medical Hospital but declared dead on
arrival by the attending physician Doctor.
