Warranty regulations
In these warranty conditions Fast & Fluid Management is referred to as ‘F&FM’. The warranty conditions
that are included in the general conditions and terms of sales are to be summarized as follows (you can
get a copy of the general conditions and terms of sales with F&FM for free):
F&FM guarantees the correct functioning of its equipment for one year, except if a failure should occur that
is the direct consequence of normal wear and tear. The inspection in order to verify if a failure is covered
by the guarantee that is executed by F&FM shall be paid by the counterparty, if said failure proves not to
be covered by the guarantee. If the failure turns out to be covered by the guarantee, F&FM will provide
an identical or similar product under the conditions named in part 6 of the general conditions and term of
sale. The warranty obligation described in this article only applies if the goods supplied by F&FM have
been used in accordance with the manual. Time spent on warranty-related activities, including travel time,
travel costs and accommodation costs, are charged at current rates.
Contrary to what is stated above F&FM will in no case be committed by warranty if:
1. The failure should be repaired by the counterparty or a third party or if an attempt should be made to
repair by the counterparty or a third party;
2. The counterparty does not immediately inform F&FM in writing about the failure in a complete and
detailed manner and/or does not comply with F&FM’s instructions;
3. The counterparty has used or treated the machine in an erroneous fashion or in contradiction with
F&FM’s instructions;
4. The damages are the consequence of circumstances outside the control of F&FM which occurred during
transportation or installation.

Safety Instructions
Attention! Before installing the equipment and setting it in operation, please read
the instructions for use carefully. This is safer for yourself and prevents
unnecessary damage to the machine.
F&FM will not accept any liability if the following instructions are not observed:
1. Do not use damaged dispensers (damage might occur during transportation). When in doubt,
always contact your servicer or supplier before proceeding.
2. Always install and connect the dispenser according to the installation instructions.
3. All local safety regulations and decrees must be respected.
4. Connect the dispenser only to a fixed socket outlet with safety ground and 230 V / 50 Hz or
100-110 V / 50-60 Hz, according to the instructions.
5. The user should make sure that the dispenser is kept in good conditions; defective components
should be replaced immediately.
6. In order to avoid physical injury, during normal usage, all doors should be closed and all panels fixed.
7. Maintenance operations that go beyond routine operations should only be performed by
qualified technicians. During repairs the power cord should be safely removed from the fixed
socket outlet.
Specific warnings and tips
Attention! Switching off the dispenser with the emergency stop will
also stop colorant agitation.
Attention! MOVING PARTS CAN CAUSE INJURY. Always turn off power
(e.g. by pressing emergency stop) before accessing moving parts.

Installation
Step 1 - Detach the dispenser from its transport skid

Installing the computer and the software
Step 1 - Place the computer
Place the computer in the cavity Connect the dispenser as indicated in the
image above.
Step 2 - Install the dispensing software
your dispensing software. The dispenser’s functionality shall be
greatly determined by the dosage software. Therefore it is important
to thoroughly read the manual for the software for optimum
dispenser efficiency.

Turning the dispenser & computer ON
Turning on:
• Make sure the power cord has been correctly
connected. (110/230VAC, 50/60Hz, 10Amax)
see: dispenser summary #21(im. 3-3).
• Unlock emergency stop switch see:
dispenser summary #2(im. 3-1), the
dispenser will automatically start up.
Turning off:
There is no reason to turn off the dispenser;
> switching off the PC is enough. If for some reason
it would be necessary, the dispenser can be
switched off in the following ways:
• Switching off only the dispenser: push
the emergency stop switch (see:
dispenser summary #2(im. 3-1)).
Do not use the emergency stop switch too often
as this also causes the stirring mechanism to
stop.
• Switching off entire dispenser: Remove
power cord, this also stops the stirring function.

Caution! Switching off the dispenser with the emergency stop switch will also cause
the stirring mechanism to be turned off.
Agitation timer
The stirring time and interval can be altered from
its default settings*. This can be done through
the dispenser software, check your software
manual for instructions.
Please ask your paint supplier for optimal
agitation settings for your specific colorant
> Products.
* Default value is 180 seconds of agitation every
3 hours.

Daily Maintenance
Clean the brush tray, refill canisters and run morning program

Weekly Maintenance

Troubleshooting
Before calling your supplier or the service department, please check if you can solve the
problem yourself. If that does not work, you can call the service department for advice. Have
the serial number and dispenser type ready (you can find the serial number on the frame, on
the front of the dispenser
(see im. 3-2 #15) or next the net entry on the back side of the dispenser (see im. 3-3 #20).
Use the table below to determine whether you can solve a problem yourself or if you need to
call the service department. You should never remove side panels from the dispenser, only
certified personnel are allowed to do this. This table does not contain any error codes from
the dispense software; please consult the software manual for these.

power (e.g. with the emergency stop) before approaching moving parts.

Packaging material
The packaging protects the equipment against damage during transportation. The packaging material was
chosen because of its reduced impact on the environment and its waste disposal possibilities.
By reusing the packaging, primary materials are saved and less waste is produced. Your retailer will most
likely take the packaging back.
Discarding the equipment
In many cases discarded machines still contain valuable materials. Please do not dispose of this machine
together with the domestic waste, but ask your supplier for the possibility of returning the machine.
If this is not possible, look for possibilities to recycle materials. For example: steel, electrical components
and plastic (see below for further instructions).
