ACTIVITY

 Anna wants to have a movie date with her family, which genre do you think is better to
watch?
a) HORROR MOVIES (Reason) – In my opinion, horror movies would be a better movie to
watch with family because horror movies help us socialize with our family and we share
we experience the same emotions at the same time.
b) ROMANTIC MOVIES (Reason) – Romantic movies have awkward scenes sometimes
that is why in my opinion it would be awkward to watch with your parents specially if
you are not that open or close with your family.
 Juan is craving for sweets, which is better for him to eat?
a) FRUITS GROUP (Reason) – if what is better for Juan is what he needs then fruits group
would be the better for Juan to eat because fruits are also sweet and delicious and also
healthy even if he eats too much.
b) CHOCOLATES (Reason) - chocolates are too sweet and it will be bad for Juan if he eats
too much.

Question: How did you come up with those reasons?

I came up with those reasons base on my experiences in my own life and I also based in my
logical thinking or in what I observe with other families that tells what happens when they watch
movies together.

3. Know what you are looking for.
4. Respond to your own questions.
5. Compare it to your other readings.

QUESTION: Does the height of a person change throughout the day?
CLAIM: Your height changes all day long.
EVIDENCE: We are around 1 cm taller in the morning than throughout the day; in the evening,
the opposite occurs, with a range of about 2/3 cm during the day.

your spine decompresses, and you regain the lost length.

2.

percent fewer carbon emissions than online courses.

Critical reading skills can be improved by employing strategies such as asking questions, reading to boost knowledge, knowing what you are looking for, responding to your own questions, and comparing new information with other readings. Fruits are a better choice for Juan because they offer natural sweetness along with essential vitamins and nutrients, promoting health even when consumed in larger quantities. Unlike chocolates, which are high in sugar and can have negative health effects if eaten excessively, fruits can satisfy sweet cravings while also supporting a healthy diet .

Horror movies may be a better choice for a family movie night as they can enhance socialization among family members by eliciting shared emotions, such as fear and suspense, simultaneously experienced by everyone. These collective emotional experiences can foster a sense of connection. In contrast, romantic movies might contain awkward scenes that could make some family members uncomfortable, particularly if they are not openly communicative or closely bonded with each other .

Online learning tends to be more environmentally friendly and better suited for student-led advancement. It significantly reduces paper and electricity consumption and cuts down on carbon emissions associated with commuting. Additionally, it provides students with greater autonomy over their learning pace and content, potentially enhancing self-directed education. Traditional face-to-face classes, in contrast, involve higher energy use and emissions, but may offer more structure and immediate interaction .

A person's height fluctuates throughout the day due to the compression and decompression of the spinal discs. Evidence shows that individuals are approximately 1 cm taller in the morning compared to the evening, with a total variation of about 2/3 cm over the day. As a person stands or sits throughout the day, gravity compresses the spinal discs, reducing height. During sleep, the spine decompresses, allowing the spine to partially regain its height .
