Purging Inactive Sessions in R12

This article describes how to run the "Purge Inactive Sessions" concurrent program in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1. This program purges sessions that are not active. First, the concurrent program needs to be added to the "System Administrator" responsibility request group as it is not included by default. Then a new request can be submitted to run the program. Finally, the number of records in the icx_sessions table should be checked to verify inactive sessions were purged. The process is completed by logging in as sysadmin, navigating to security responsibilities, searching for the system administrator group, adding the concurrent program, saving, and submitting the new purge request.
