EPFO ensures non-discrimination by adhering to reservation policies for categories like OBC, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen by requiring proper certification, like caste certificates that meet central government standards, and ensuring appointments do not favor or disadvantage any group intentionally .
Candidates who provide false information may have their applications rejected at any stage of selection without notice. If discovered later, even after appointment, their services can be terminated, and they may be subject to criminal proceedings. The decision of EPFO in such matters is final .
The EPFO is responsible for issuing the offer of appointment to candidates who pass the examination, but this is contingent upon the availability of vacancies and the candidates satisfying other eligibility criteria such as ranking in the merit list, medical fitness, and verification of original documents. The examination's conducting agency's role is simply to recommend suitable candidates, and selection in the examination does not automatically confer a right to appointment .
In cases of multiple submitted applications, the last application correctly completed is accepted while earlier application fees are not adjusted. This ensures compliance with application accuracy and prevents the submission of incorrect information .
Candidates should maintain an active email address and mobile number for all communications related to the recruitment process as all correspondences will be sent via email or SMS. They cannot change their registered email or mobile number once the application is submitted .
Candidates with locomotor disabilities and cerebral palsy, with at least 40% impairment, and visually disabled candidates can receive 20 extra minutes per hour for their exams. Those eligible for a scribe/passage dictator have additional time for skill tests. Even candidates with less than 40% disability can receive compensatory time if they have writing difficulty .
Candidates must read and follow the instructions for filling out the online application correctly, include all necessary information accurately, and ensure their information cannot be altered post submission. They must keep copies of their application and related documents and cannot withdraw their application once submitted .
The EPFO reserves the right to cancel or add examination centers based on response and administrative feasibility. Candidates are allocated examination centers based on logistical considerations, and the EPFO may assign a center other than a candidate’s preferences. No requests for changing the exam center, venue, date, or session will be entertained, and candidates must attend at their own risk and expense, without compensation for any costs or injuries incurred .
EPFO requires candidates to fill applications with accurate and complete information. Applications are subject to rejection if eligibility criteria are not met, with no hard copies of documents needed initially. Shortlisted candidates must provide original documents for verification. If their details or eligibility are proven false later, their application may be canceled .
Ex-Servicemen must provide a certificate issued by the competent authority verifying their service details and meet criteria such as completing assignments without discharge for misconduct. This ensures they qualify for age relaxation or appointment, as per current rules .
