I. Introduction
Many unwanted incidents occur in the dark, such as nighttime crashes, robberies,
and other crimes, all of which have a negative impact on people's lives and property.
Many reported incidents, such as vehicular accidents, occurred since 2021, and many
people lost loved ones and family members, whether they were an elder or a child. It's
worth noting that the accident scene usually has fewer functioning streetlights and poor
electricity connectivity, especially during bad weather.

III. Purpose, Goals, Objectives
Purpose
The said project proposal entitled “ALUMBRA: Installation of Solar streetlights in
barangay Divisoria” aims to install solar streetlights in Felisario, Divisoria Zamboanga city
Goal
To light up the streets of Barangay Divisoria, particularly Felisario Drive. This is to
assist the community in preventing unwanted incidents in the barangay, given that the
majority of the residents are frontliners and return home late at night, as well as to
prevent night-time crashes because Felisario's streets have a blind curve.
Objectives
1. Prevent unwanted night-time incidents;
2. Minimize maintenance requirement; and
3. Conservation of energy.
IV. Procedures and Scope of Work
Procedure
(a) Deliberation of the project proposal for the project entitled “ALUMRA:
INSTALLATION OF SOLAR STREETLIGHTS IN BARANGAY DIVISORIA”
(b) Upon approval of the project proposal, send a letter of request to the chosen
barangay where the project will take place, as well as to the other affiliating
organizations.
(c) Meeting with the intended barangay and affiliating organizations.
(d) Conferment of the contract to be determined in a barangay assembly; the place
where it should be built will be discussed in the said meeting.
(e) Discussions with the affiliating barangays and organizations about the project's
strategic plan.
(f) Implementation of the project

Scope of work
The extent of the project encompasses the barangay of Divisoria specifically Felisario drive.

I. Evaluation of Success
Solar street lights are the most cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and safe way to
save energy. It clearly addresses the world's current problems, such as energy conservation
and the safety of riders and commuters in the community. For the next few months we will
monitor if the solar streetlights are working properly. We will also be on stanby if the solar
streetlights cannot endure harsh outdoor weather conduct once a month a site survey for
instance monitoring and checking the solar streetlights and also asking the people in Divisoria
on what do they feel about the installed street lights. For the next ten years, improve the quality
of life for the people of Divisoria by providing street lighting, preserving comfort, safety, and
peace.
