Hahnemann Homoeopathic Medical Trust was Constituted

and registered on 28.12.94, with the object of educating the

system of Homoeopathy and rendering social sewice to the

Thiru VK. Arumugam, an engineering Gmduate, served in

Tamil Nadu Electricity Board for about 20 years in various
capacities had resigned his post an Executive Engineer and
staicd an lndustry manufacturing Transformers in various capacitics
during 1978 at No. 12l, Kundrathur Road, Poruq Chennai - 600116.

He was simplc ir living, an able indust alist, Philauthopist

rvith charitable mind and a social worker particularly in health care.
Keeping this in mind, he had initially established Hahnemann
Homoeopathic Medical Trust duly registered at his Industrial
Complex, rendering medical trcatmcnt in Homoeopathy manned
by the Registered Medical Practioners to the Public almost on
charity basis. As the numbcr of the out patients grew day by day,
he had an ambitious desire to havc a Homoeopathic Medical
College of its own, impafting Modical Graduates in BHMS and
attached Hospital with inpatient and Outpatient Departments.
To fulfill his desire, he had started Vcntateswara Homoeopathy
Medical College & Hospital in the ncwly built Trust Building
at 6/177-A, Mount Poonamallee Road, Porur, Chennai-600 116.

college premises. Boys Hostel facility is also available within
the campus. 24 hours security and banking facility is available
within college prcmises.
Code of Conduct

The students so admitted should conduct themselves in a

disciplined manner so as to set an example to other
shrdents.

All the students should strictly adhere to the rules and

rcgulations ofthe college issued from time to time.

If any student is involved in ragging or any other

undesirable social activities, he/she will be expelled from
the college and criminal proceedings instituted against
him/her.

The students should be prcsent during the working hours

and sincercly apply themselves to studies.

Thc studcnts should attend tho classes regularly and

punctually. A minimum attendance of 9070 in each subject
is required for appearing for the Univ€rsity Examinations.

The students should bdng with them the prescribed books

and instruments to the classes. Care should be taken in
handling laboratory equipments. Must wear apron both in
college and OPD & IPD

The students shall feel free to approach any faculty members

concemed for any clarification on the subjects at a
convenlent t1mg.

any violent form of demonstration which is detrimental
to the college ard to the cause of Medical education.

The students should carry with them the identity card issued
bythe College. Admission inside the college campus to
the library College fimctions etc, will be stictly on
production of identiry caxd.

' The students who stay in Hostel, should strictly follow

the rules and regulations ofthe Hostel issued from time
failing which such students will be expelled from the
Hostel.

' The progress of the students shall be intimated periodically

to their parcnts. The change of address of their parents if
any, should be intimated to the college.

l. All girl students are to wear salwar kameez/churidhar

with dhupatta. No short chudidhars (or) leggings.

2. Al[ boy students are to wear formal pant and shirt with
shoes compulsorily.
