At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
a. Identify the basic sequence of events and make relevant predictions about
stories.
b. Demonstrate basic sequencing of events and making predictions.
c. Appreciate and apply the moral of the story.

D. Lesson Proper
So class, what is sequencing of
events?
Sequencing events is putting things
in order from first to last because
every situation or story has its
beginning and ending. It helps you
get an idea of order and time. So you
can sequence events by knowing the
details, using your personal
experience, and understanding the
message.
What is prediction?
Prediction is what someone thinks
will happen. It is statement about the
future. It is a guess’ sometimes base
on facts or evidence, but not always.
Pre means “before” and diction has
to do with talking.
So we will make predictions by
establishing the relationship between
words, ideas, and/or pictures in a
given story.
Now class, let us read and listen
carefully to a story “The Crow and
the Pitcher”
