The lesson plan supports inclusive education by giving special attention to students needing hints or prompts during reading sessions, ensuring that all students, regardless of their learning pace, are able to participate and understand the material .

Potential challenges include ensuring students understand the difference between day and night skies and engaging those who may need more support. The plan addresses these by linking lessons to familiar topics, offering hands-on activities like drawing, and providing special attention to students needing additional help .

Interdisciplinary linkages are created by connecting the lesson with previously learned topics in EVS such as 'Animals Around Us' and 'The Earth and the Sky'. These connections help students understand the relationships between animals, the environment, and the concepts of the day and night sky .

An example of a hands-on learning activity is having students draw a picture of both the night and day sky, as well as a rainbow. This activity helps students better understand and differentiate between the colors and elements present in the sky at different times, thereby solidifying their comprehension of the lesson content .

Art integration in the lesson plan involves a warm-up activity where students color pictures of day and night skies. This not only engages them creatively but also reinforces the lesson's concepts visually, making learning more enjoyable and memorable .

Expected learning outcomes include understanding the curiosity of the bat to see a day sky, appreciating the joy of seeing various colors of the day sky, identifying different sky colors during day and night, and enhancing vocabulary. These are assessed through question-answer sessions and participation in textbook exercises .

The pedagogical strategies include discussing daily activities during the daytime and introducing birds and animals active at night. The teacher narrates the story of Luna, the bat, and conducts individual reading, practice drilling, and writing of hard words. There are also group activities such as drawing the day and night sky, as well as rainbows, and linking the lesson to interdisciplinary topics .

The lesson plan incorporates values by teaching students that animals, insects, and birds should not be harmed because they are our friends and have a life of their own. This instills a sense of empathy and respect for living creatures .

The story of Luna, the bat, can illustrate the curiosity and lifestyles of nocturnal animals. By narrating Luna's experience and her desire to see the day sky, students learn about how some animals are active at night and sleep during the day, contrasting their habits with diurnal animals .

Student feedback is used to measure the attainment of learning outcomes. A satisfactory feedback system ensures that observations are gathered, helping teachers adjust and refine their teaching strategies for better understanding and engagement in future sessions .
