A Teacher’s Prayer
Oh God Almight,
I am thankful that you bring my loving students safe into this room,
I am asking for your help,
To guide and help me
So that I can share all the knowledge and wisdom to them
Through the help of your blessed hand
Caress their hearts and mind

Open them their eyes to see everything on them
Open them their ears to listen
For I help to shape their mind
For I help them to shape their future.
Amen.

Introduction
“In the beginning was the Word…”
(John 1:1)
Introduction
The practical implementation of the information and strategies that students have learned
in Concepcion Holy Cross College is what we know as practice teaching. In and outside of school
classrooms the student-teachers practice what they have learned and are supervised by teachers
from college, cooperating teachers and school principals.
Practice teaching is one way by which we students are given an opportunity to apply the
theories and computations that we have learned from school. It also helps us to obtain applicable
knowledge and skills by performing in actual work setting. Colleges and universities require their
students to undergo such training within a specific number of hours as part of the curriculum for
us students; an internship program provides opportunities to go through the actual methodologies
of a specific job using the real tools, equipment, and documents. In effect, the work place
becomes a development venue for us student trainee to learn more about our chosen field and
practice what we have learn from school institution. It serve as link between college learning in
and off-campus to introduce then to the actual work they will do in the future.
It is the time when the Pre-Service Teacher has the chance to put into application the all the
principles and techniques learned in college. It is his/her times to learn that teaching actually
bring him/her into an intimate contact with the children. It’s a reality in which he/she commences
to develop and guide their phase or intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth and as well
as development.
It is the phase in which the pre service teacher seeks new tasks to broaden his/her present
sphere of expression. Much more, Pre- service teaching is designed to help, provide means and
guide Pre-Service teacher to develop further and more minor competence and capabilities in
companion knowledge to school children. Needless to say, it is the stage where the Pre- Service
Teacher will come to realize that every child as an individual of infinite importance, once
influence the teacher work and modes.
Pre-Service Teaching is one of the most valuable phases of training of the teacher. In fact it
is considered the core of teacher. It is during this period of preparation and adjustment students
meet innumerable problems that strongly affect them by way of retarding or hindering their
growth and progress.

our task is to do actual teaching. Pressured but at the same time I am excited. But,
through the presence of our kind cooperating principal, the pressure in my mind lessen,
because same at the first time we met the principal, the smile on her face is always
