Description You are going to examine plates containing different map projections in order to
compare and contrast their properties with regards to their use and features. A
matrix is expected to be produced using a format provided by the instructor. The
presentation of the observations follows.
Briefing Items to be discussed during briefing:

1. Form the class into groups with 3-4 members each.
2. Relate the activity with prior discussion on map projection.
3. Brief the class with regards to the activity.
4. Facilitate the class in their group session in examining the chart projections.
5. Supervise the presentation of output for each group. Encourage interaction
between the students.
6. Wrap-up activity by presenting a prepared matrix summarizing the differences
