When I was a student, my best friend and I travelled around
Europe for a month. We didn’t want to travel by train, so we
hitchhiked. Once, a lorry driver gave us a lift from Paris to Cannes
– over 900 kilometres!
She set off from her house at six o’clock in the morning. However,
she boarded the 06:30 train because there was a traffic jam in the
town center.
Our plane took off from Beijing 45 minutes late, but we landed in
Sydney ten minutes early!
Our journey from London to Glasgow was terrible! We missed our
train in London at two o’clock, but then we changed trains in
Birmingham and also in Manchester. In the end, we got to
Glasgow just after midnight.
