RULES
• The syllabus aims to provide students a stress free environment and a joyful
learning experience.
• The school aims to develop inner abilities within a student through activities and
observations.
• No formal examination will be conducted.
• The evaluation of students performances will be done through regular
observations and activities of a student in school i.e., CCE (Continuous &
Comprehensive Evaluation).
• As evaluation will be through CCE, so pre-intimation of assessments is not
required.
• Minimum 75 % attendance is necessary for promotion.
• There will be 3 terms in an academic year i.e., TERM I (April -August), TERM II
(September-December), TERM III (January - March).
• There will be P.T.M. on 2nd Saturday of each month. However, notice will be
circulated regarding it for necessary discussion.

CLASS - I
AN OVERVIEW
• The syllabus aims to provide students a stress free environment and a
joyful learning experience.
• The school aims to develop inner abilities within a student through
activities and observations.
• No formal examination will be conducted.
• The evaluation of students performances will be done through regular
observations and activities of a student in school i.e., CCE (Continuous &
Comprehensive Evaluation).
• As evaluation will be through CCE, so pre-intimation of assessments is not
required.
• Minimum 75 % attendance is necessary for promotion.
• There will be 3 terms in an academic year i.e., TERM I (April -August),
TERM II (September-December), TERM III (January - March).
• There will be P.T.M. on 2nd Saturday of each month. However, notice will
be circulated regarding it for necessary discussion.

EXAMINATION RULES STD III – V
1. There will be four written examinations, namely pre Mid-term Assessment, Mid-term
Assessment, post Mid-term Assessment and Annual Examination as mentioned in the
syllabus.
2. Pre Mid-term assessment and post Mid-term assessment carry 30 Marks each as per the
following
(i) Pen & Paper Test : 20 Marks
(ii) (a) HW/CW : 05 Marks
(b) Subject Enrichment Activity : 05 Marks
3. Subject Enrichment Activities will include ASL, Speech, Dictation, Recitation, Lab-Activity, Role
Play ,MCQ and VSQ Tests, Map Work, Chart making, Skill Tests, Project work etc.
4. Mid-Term test and Annual Examination will be of 80 marks each all the subjects.
5. It is mandatory for a student to appear all the tests and activities.
6. Portion of Annual Examination will not include the portion taught for Mid Term Test.
7. In case of sickness during tests or examination days, immediate information must be given to
the principal with proper justification.
8. Due weightage of all the tests/examinations will be taken into consideration for promotion to
the next higher class. i.e. Pre Mid-term assessment (10%) + Mid-term assessment (40%) +
Post Mid-term assessment (10%) + Annual Examination (40%) = 100%
9. The performance of a student in Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas will be reflected in terms
of grades in the Report Card. A student has to secure minimum ‘D’ grade (4.0 grade point or
33-40% marks) in all the subjects under Scholastic and Co-Scholastic domain individually and
minimum 25% in Mid-term test and Annual examination in total for promotion to the next
higher class.
10. Minimum 75% attendance is a pre-requisite criterion for promotion to the next higher class.
11. Students obtaining grade E in any subject will have to appear the Improvement test and will
get only one chance to obtain the qualifying grade.

12. There will be four written examinations, namely pre Mid-term Assessment, Mid-term
Assessment, post Mid-term Assessment and Annual Examination as mentioned in the
syllabus.
13. Pre Mid-term assessment and post Mid-term assessment carry 30 Marks each as per the
following
(i) Pen & Paper Test : 20 Marks
(ii) (a) HW/CW : 05 Marks
(b) Subject Enrichment Activity : 05 Marks
14. Subject Enrichment Activities will include ASL, Speech, Dictation, Recitation, Lab-Activity, Role
Play ,MCQ and VSQ Tests, Map Work, Chart making, Skill Tests, Project work etc.
15. Mid-Term test and Annual Examination will be of 80 marks each all the subjects.
16. It is mandatory for a student to appear all the tests and activities.
17. Portion of Annual Examination will not include the portion taught for Mid Term Test.
18. In case of sickness during tests or examination days, immediate information must be given to
the principal with proper justification.
19. Due weightage of all the tests/examinations will be taken into consideration for promotion to
the next higher class. i.e. Pre Mid-term assessment (10%) + Mid-term assessment (40%) +
Post Mid-term assessment (10%) + Annual Examination (40%) = 100%
20. The performance of a student in Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas will be reflected in terms
of grades in the Report Card. A student has to secure minimum ‘D’ grade (4.0 grade point or
33-40% marks) in all the subjects under Scholastic and Co-Scholastic domain individually and
minimum 25% in Mid-term test and Annual examination in total for promotion to the next
higher class.
21. Minimum 75% attendance is a pre-requisite criterion for promotion to the next higher class.
22. Students obtaining grade E in any subject will have to appear the Improvement test and will
get only one chance to obtain the qualifying grade.

23. There will be four written examinations, namely pre Mid-term Assessment, Mid-term
Assessment, post Mid-term Assessment and Annual Examination as mentioned in the
syllabus.
24. Pre Mid-term assessment and post Mid-term assessment carry 30 Marks each as per the
following
(i) Pen & Paper Test : 20 Marks
(ii) (a) HW/CW : 05 Marks
(b) Subject Enrichment Activity : 05 Marks
25. Subject Enrichment Activities will include ASL, Speech, Dictation, Recitation, Lab-Activity, Role
Play ,MCQ and VSQ Tests, Map Work, Chart making, Skill Tests, Project work etc.
26. Mid-Term test and Annual Examination will be of 80 marks each all the subjects.
27. It is mandatory for a student to appear all the tests and activities.
28. Portion of Annual Examination will not include the portion taught for Mid Term Test.
29. In case of sickness during tests or examination days, immediate information must be given to
the principal with proper justification.
30. Due weightage of all the tests/examinations will be taken into consideration for promotion to
the next higher class. i.e. Pre Mid-term assessment (10%) + Mid-term assessment (40%) +
Post Mid-term assessment (10%) + Annual Examination (40%) = 100%
31. The performance of a student in Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas will be reflected in terms
of grades in the Report Card. A student has to secure minimum ‘D’ grade (4.0 grade point or
33-40% marks) in all the subjects under Scholastic and Co-Scholastic domain individually and
minimum 25% in Mid-term test and Annual examination in total for promotion to the next
higher class.
32. Minimum 75% attendance is a pre-requisite criterion for promotion to the next higher class.
33. Students obtaining grade E in any subject will have to appear the Improvement test and will
get only one chance to obtain the qualifying grade.
