TAYLOR SWIFT

PATI: Today we are going to have with us one of the most listened to singers in 2022. She
has had lots of ups and downs along her career but has still managed to be at the top doing
what she loves, having won eleven grammy awards. Please welcome Taylor Swift!!!!!!

ISA: Hi!!! Thanks for having me

PATI: Taylor, like i just said, you are one of the most successful singers from the past
decades. Could you tell us about the presence of music in your childhood? Where you the
type of girl who was always singing or playing an instrument?

ISA: Well, I’ve been playing the guitar since I was 7, but even before that I already knew I
wanted to dedicate my life to music. In my family it always had a very important place. My
parents made sure I was conscious of the power of music.

PATI: And once you knew this was your dream how did you start? Because I imagine it
wasn’t an easy path.

ISA: Yeah, it was actually a bumpy road. My first style was country, and I tried to stick with
that, but I realized that in the music industry, it is necessary to constantly reinvent yourself to
keep up with the interests of society. I had to learn how to do this and still be myself.

PATI:Oh did you find it easy to change the style which you started?

ISA: I really like country music, but my main objective is to send a message to the world, so
while I am able to do that, I don’t care about anything else. Besides, I find it fun to renovate
my style once in a while.

PATI: You have recently won your eleventh grammy how do you feel knowing you are one of
the best singers in the world?

ISAt

PATI: As an artist what image would you like people to have of you?

ISA: I would like to be seen as a normal person, so that everyone can feel identified with me.
I suffer, like everyone else does, and I want my music to be a safe place for those who are
going through the same as me.

PATI: We can all agree that you are a very strong woman. Can you tell us how you normally
deal with haters?

ISA: Well, I have a lot of experience when it comes to critics, because in the end, I’m
famous, and people’s opinion is something I’m gonna have to deal with. I’ve learnt through
the years that some comments can be helpful, so I try to ignore the hurtful and meaningless
comments and listen to those which might help me grow as an artist.
PATI: As a musician who writes your own lyrics I imagine it sometimes might be hard to
come up with something original and meaningful. What helps you stay inspired?

ISA: I try not to pressure myself, because I know me and I know I don’t work well under
pressure. What I try to do when I get blocked I go for a walk to clear my thoughts.
PATI: Your songs usually have a strong message. In your opinion, What is the song which
has the most important meaning?

ISA: The song whose message is most important for me is Shake it off. The story of this
song is … So I think the message is clear and crucial for everyone: enjoy the moment
without minding others opinion.

PATI: I find it impressive that you always talk about your own love story in your song. Don't
you sometimes feel too exposed?

ISA: I actually feel comforted by my fans when I know they listen to my songs. They normally
talk about hard times in my life, so I like to think that there’s people I’m helping by telling my
story.

PATI:To end with what advice would you give to a girl whose dream is to become a famous
singer?

ISA: I think the most important thing for an artist in general is to be yourself without minding
people’s opinion.

PATI:Thank you for being here. As always it has been a pleasure to have you with us.
