The activity is likely to positively influence participants' perception by demonstrating the university's commitment to social responsibility and community engagement. By facilitating such initiatives, the university not only emphasizes its role in academic excellence but also in moral and social development, fostering goodwill and strengthening its reputation as a pillar of community service .

The decision to involve BEED Curriculum officers is strategic, leveraging their leadership and organizational skills to plan and execute the event effectively. These officers are likely to have a closer relationship with students and a better understanding of their needs, enabling them to tailor the activity to maximize impact. Additionally, their involvement serves as a practical experience in managing events and engaging in social initiatives .

The primary objectives of the 'Gift Giving Activity' are to render help to students in need within the organization, instill the value of giving and sharing that is distinctively, authentically, and positively Filipino, and to make the organization's students feel happy, loved, appreciated, and supported by providing Christmas gifts .

The financial planning ensures effectiveness by providing a detailed budget breakdown covering necessary expenses such as gift packs, snacks for participants, materials like gift wrappers, and a contingency fund. The estimated total budget is Php 6,250, with specific allocations such as Php 4,200 for gifts, assuring each gift contains items worth Php 300.00 for 14 students, thereby aligning the budget with the objectives of providing support and making students feel appreciated .

Potential challenges in gathering additional gifts include limited community resources, donor fatigue, or insufficient outreach efforts. To overcome these, organizers could employ strategies such as diversifying potential donor lists, personalized appeals to previous benefactors, and community engagement campaigns to raise awareness about the impact of their contributions, thereby increasing donation prospects .

The potential long-term impact on future educators includes the development of empathy, social responsibility, and a commitment to community service. By engaging in the activity, they experience firsthand the significance of giving back to the community, which can inspire them to incorporate these values into their professional practices, thereby promoting a culture of care and support in their future classrooms .

The 'Gift Giving Activity' reflects Filipino values by emphasizing the cultural principle of 'Paghatagay kag Pag-amligay sa Ti-on sang Paskwa', which involves sharing and caring during Christmas, a profoundly anticipated cultural celebration. By focusing on helping students in need and fostering a community spirit among them, the activity instills a sense of gratitude, charity, and communal support, which are core Filipino values .

The activity aims to address emotional and social needs by creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel happy, loved, and appreciated. Through provision of gifts and community involvement, it fosters a sense of belonging and recognition, helping reduce feelings of isolation and enhancing their emotional well-being during the holiday season .

The theme enhances cultural relevance by using a native phrase that embodies the essence of Christmas in Filipino culture—sharing and caring during the festive season. It connects participants culturally, emphasizing meaningful engagement through familiar cultural concepts, and fosters a sense of identity and pride among participants .

Logistical strategies include coordination among BEED Curriculum officers and an adviser for preparing the gifts. Preparation begins on December 12 and ends on December 25, ensuring all logistics are in place before the event day. The strategizing involves collecting additional resources through solicitation letters to maximize the number of gifts, indicative of a proactive approach to resource mobilization .
