Students are expected to attend classes
regularly and punctuality for it is an

informed about this through a letter.

4. For one or two consecutive days absences, a
student must present to his/her adviser and
subject teacher’s an excuse letter signed by
his/her parent/guardian.

the parent must present a medical certificate to the
class advisers before a student is admitted in class
indicating that the student is fit to return to school.
6. A student who incurs three unexcused
absences ( no excuse letter/medical certificate) 1 Attendance &

bring his/her parents to the guidance counsellor.
7. Excused and unexcused absences reaching 20% of
the total school days required by the DepEd will mean
“DROPPED’ from the enrolment list.
8. Request for an earlier dismissal due to valid reasons
should be signed by the parents or guardian and
approved by the Principal/Guidance Counselor

group works/activity, quizzes, etc. However,
he/she is allowed to make-up for the lessons and
quizzes he / she missed.

the doctor, dentist, etc., are not sufficient reason for
missing school. It is suggested that such appointment
are done after class hours except for emergencies

11. Parents are expected to comply with
scheduled conferences. Repeated failure of the

parent to respond to an invitation for a meeting
or conferences may compel the school to advise
the child’s withdrawal from school.
12. Any parent desiring to come for a conference
with a teacher other than schedules conference
should notify the Guidance Office or the teacher
concerned at least a day before the visit. Should
they come without prior appointment, the teacher
might not entertain them.

activities and programs. However, when such
activity and/or program is held off campus( outside
the school), or after class hours, or during non-class

for that day. Should classes be suspended by DepEd
after the students have come in, students will be
allowed to leave the campus after 11:00 am.

Students represent Don Alejandro Roces Sr.
Science-Technology High School, and the
school believes that proper clothing has a
positive impact on a student’s attitude his or her
academics and behaviour. The Rocesian are
required to be in complete uniform, to dress
smartly and take pride in their appearance, to be
neat and well-pressed uniform during classes
and while in attendance in other school
functions.

3 Measures
1. Students are not allowed to leave school
campus before dismissal time for any reason
unless their parents fetch them. Permit for early
dismissal can be secure from the Principal or
Guidance Counselor by the parent or guardian.
2. Loitering around the campus especially along the
corridors during class hours is strictly prohibited.
