The lift plan involves using a certified four-point lift to move a shipping container weighing 7 tonnes. Excavation 3 meters deep and 2 meters wide has been made at the lifting area. A four-leg bridle rated at 12.5 tonnes will be connected to 4 shackles rated at 9.5 tonnes each and 4 wire slings rated at 6.7 tonnes each to lift the 8-tonne container from a truck bed that is 6m long, 3m wide and 1.5m high off the ground. The lift will occur at night with wind speeds of 7m/s.
