B<>rder/ess is a Nigerian nonprofit that aims to train 100 African tech developers annually to build products for the benefit of Africa. It started a remote developer program in June 2022 and opened a physical hub in October 2022. It teaches free courses in front-end, back-end, blockchain and other technologies. It achieves its goal through training programs and quarterly events to certify developers and attract new recruits. Its first tech event was held in November 2022 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. It aims to train developers, designers and managers each quarter to produce four Web3 products annually and transform technology in Nigeria.
