SECOND QUARTER – Week 3

Literature enables man to see what the writers see and feel what the writers feel. With the
use of descriptive words , we can also create images in our minds to make the literary texts more
meaningful.

Literature enables us to get values that we can use in our day to day life. In the case of
Filipinos, we have our distinctive values that should be preserved despite the modernization of the
world through technology.

In this module , you will do the following:

Lesson 1
--- know what a short story is and its elements
--- identify the unchanging value being depicted in the story
--- differentiate the attitude of the main characters

Lesson 2
----complete the summary of the short story
