Every morning a person wakes up and starts his day with the same thing: someone is going
to school, someone is going to university, someone is going to work. However, people stop
paying attention to things that seem ordinary to them, whether it's a scribbled workbook or
a new laptop. But does everyone know what is hidden behind this or that picture on the
cover? Everything that surrounds us has its own design. What is design and how does it
manifest itself in human life?
The main design function is add value to people's lives. Design creates variety in people's
lives. A good designer should always follow creative feelings. The most important thing in
the work of a designer is the lack of framework. The designer should have a lot of freedom.
But we must not forget that the final product must fulfill a user's need. A person might think
If I had more free time, I would definitely be able to become a great designer such a person
have misconceptions about design. Indeed, in order to turn an idea into something
desirable, it is very important to be aimed at the end result that the buyer may like. Around
me there are many objects with a good and interesting design. For example, my phone is
excellent value for money, which in my opinion is very important for modern technology.
Often a product costs much more than it should, this is due to the fact that the company
that produces this product is world famous. However, my phone that is being produced
from a waterproof material does not belong to a well-known phone company, but it has a
great design. It is stylish black, it has a good camera, which has a night mode, as well as a
slow motion mode, and thanks to the durable material from which the case is made, the
phone will not break even if it falls on the floor.
The main features of the interior design of the 90s:
At this time, minimalism is born: people are tired of the riot of colors, abstractions and
active geometry. Furniture with leather upholstery became especially popular in the 90s: it
is considered a symbol of wealth and status. Pine furniture is also in great demand; chairs,
tables, chests of drawers and cabinets were made from it. Bulky wooden furniture,
sometimes with carvings, adorned almost every home. Already in the 90s people were
worried about damage to the environment.
The main features of the interior design of the 2000s:
So, the development of technology has made it possible to produce comfortable TVs with
smooth and curved shapes. Thanks to advances in communication, people have been able
to set up compact cinemas in their homes. Designers use a variety of colors and shades for
interior decoration; in each season, their favorites are announced;
The development of technology leads to the emergence of the concept of "smart home",
which means that the owner can remotely control all devices in the entire house. This raises
the comfort of the human dwelling to a new level. The need for laconic interiors has only
intensified, which has led to the popularity of styles such as Scandinavian, minimalism and
loft. In the modern world, people create energy saving products. Another very important
thing is that designers focus on product durability. I really like items that have an ergonomic
design. And I also find modern design very exciting because many designers work tirelessly
to increase the efficiency.
First of all, you need to understand that in trying to develop something innovative, you
need, firstly, place design above profitability, and secondly, take risks. The most famous
modern designer who was not afraid of risk, in my opinion, is Elon Musk. He introduces new
methods in the creation of his Tesla machines on one hand has balance form, function and
beauty on the other hand the absence of harm to the environment. Thanks to Tesla cars,
Elon Musk achieve world-wide success.
Modern designers are faced with a difficult task - they must balance engineering and
technical knowledge with new ideas in order to give the objects around us interesting forms
that will delight us every day. However, they should not forget that environmental care is
also very important, so it is necessary to use renewable materials.
In conclusion, I want to say that design is a very important part of the life of all people; it
gives functionality and an unusual interesting shape to objects. I am sure that everyone
wants to have items with an unusual design.
