Effective Training Design Strategies

The document discusses several key points about leave laws for government employees: 1. Leave laws provide benefits like vacation and sick leave to recognize employees' hard work and allow them to fulfill responsibilities outside of work. 2. Laws are consolidated in the Omnibus Rules on Leave which standardizes leave administration. 3. Non-teaching government employees get 15 days each of vacation and sick leave annually while teachers have a separate Teacher's Leave basis. 4. Different types of leave like annual, maternity, and sick leave each have distinct governing rules. Leave laws allow employees to rest, pursue other goals, and prepare for parenthood.

REFLECTION: TRAINING DESIGN

Employees that are new to the company go through training and orientation. But what
about the employees who have been with you for a long time and want to learn and grow? For
your current staff, training design entails developing new training and educational courses and
lessons. It identifies training holes and fills them with new material to improve performance.
It also allows your team to develop new abilities rather than staying in the same roles.
Training design allows you to examine a company's, team's, or individual's needs and
create learning solutions to help them achieve their objectives. A good design for training
includes multiple types of learning, actionable plans, and a clear manner of delivering lessons.

I. Delivering lessons

Once the training objectives have been established, consider the delivery mode of the
message. Web-based training, webinars, and interactive websites have now changed how we
train and learn. Is this, however, the best path to your objectives? Mentoring, self-paced
workshops, or small group classes supervised by an instructor may be the ideal method to
tackle your objectives. All training design must fit into a preexisting budget, or be proposed
with a budget.

II. Action Plans

The end goal is to achieve the training objectives. Once you've determined them, and
you know what you want your team or company to learn, you can start designing a training
program to teach and achieve your objectives. Adults and children have one thing in common:
neither wants to sit through a dull lesson. Action plans must be carried out. Adults learn by
doing, thus interactive learning through workshops, hands-on exercises, activities, role plays,
and group discussions keeps employees engaged. Keep in mind that some students are visual
learners while others are auditory learners.

III. Design Your Training

The mode of delivery, a set of teaching plans that will be offered via instructors, web,
or self-guided reading, and assignments that test and challenge the employee's understanding
of the topic are all part of a program design. The time restrictions and finish dates are just as
crucial as the objective goals when putting together a training program. The training must
meet an end, and the end result must meet the objective solutions. Design a schedule for
training activities, as well as all resources needed to participate.

IV. Evaluate the Process

Effective training keeps learners engaged by ensuring that lessons flow logically for
better learning, that resources are used wisely, and that the end result matches learning and
training objectives. Revising and adjusting plans can lead to new assessments and training
objectives. Training design is a means to continuous improvement.
REFLECTION: CODE OF ETHICS

The Code of Ethics assists educators in creating a safe, productive, and positive
learning environment for all learners. Teachers are expected to maintain challenging
expectations that will help all students reach their full potential by promoting meaningful and
inclusive engagement in the classroom, school, and community. The Ethical Principles
promote healthy relationships between teachers, students, and families when making
educational decisions, such as IEP accommodations. This relationship helps learners to
utilize their voices to advocate for their own achievement. Because of this relationship
between the student, the families, and the educators, all parties can improve the learning
conditions and resources that will help improve the outcome of the individual’s education.
The Code of Ethics also encourages educators to enhance classroom practice by
utilizing current data and professional knowledge. Teachers may do their best with each
student if they keep up with new trends and current information through professional
development and ongoing education. The principles outlined in the Code of Ethics
demonstrate educators' commitment to improving the educational process for learners on a
case-by-case basis, ensuring that each student's requirements are satisfied in order to achieve
the best possible learning outcome. Working together, educators can provide a successful
learning environment that respects the diverse characteristics of the exceptional learner and
their families.
REFLECTION: SPIRITUAL STABILITY

A constant pursuit of knowing Christ leads to spiritual stability. Walking upstream

has been used to describe the Christian life. If you stop walking ahead against the current of
water at some point, you will have to travel backwards. The stream has too much strength;
staying in the same location is impossible. Either forward or backward movement is possible.
To remain stable, one must push against the current. It's the same spiritually; like Paul, we
must always strive to learn more about Christ. If we want to establish spiritual stability in our
life, knowing and being like him must be our main focus. Otherwise, we will be rocked back
and forth in our spiritual lives like the waves of the sea.
We can only be spiritually stable if we continue to learn more about him. We are at
our most vulnerable when we aren't progressing. It occurs when we are not immersed in God's
Word. We become spiritually unstable and more vulnerable to the enemy's attacks when we
are inconsistent in the fellowship of the church (where God is present) and when we stop
growing into his likeness.
The sheep who are not close to the Shepherd are the ones who are most vulnerable to
enemy's attacks. The son who has left the security of the Father's household—who has left the
intimacy of the Father's hand—is the one who is most likely to fall. This, according to Paul, is
how you keep your faith in the Lord. If you are not growing and seeking growth,  you are
more likely to be taken by the enemy.
REFLECTION: LEAVE LAWS

Employees in the government are expected to carry out their tasks and duties
effectively and efficiently. In exchange, the government recognizes hard work and provides
benefits such as leave privileges. The Omnibus Rules on Leave consolidates & updates all
laws & administrative issuance relative to leave Administration in government sector.   Non-
Teaching employees in Department of Education are entitled to 15 days vacation and 15 days
sick leave annually. On the other hand, Teachers engaged in actual classroom teaching are
under Teacher’s Leave basis. These laws have been passed for the employees to achieve their
other goals in life, to fulfill their responsibilities to their families, to rest, or to be ready to the
parenthood world. Annual, maternity, and sick leave are examples of distinct forms of leave,
each of which is governed differently.
