Guidelines in setting SMART goals:

• Be specific. Include the smallest details.
• Make your goals measurable. How do you know that you have reached your target?
• Think of what is attainable and be realistic. Aim high, dream big, but don’t frustrate yourself by reaching for
impossible targets.
• Make your goals time bound. Don’t give yourself a forever moving deadline. What can you achieve in a year? In 5
years? In 10 years?

After accomplishing the table above, answer the questions below for your reflection:
1. What do you need to do now to prepare yourself and achieve what you imagine as your career and vocation?
First I need to be emotionally prepared for everything I am about to face because I know that the future can always
change but the least I could do now is be honest with what I work on for my future because I know I’ll be facing
things that may be unpleasant or pleasant, I just hope that when the time comes, I am emotionally capable to
handle myself and my emotions. Second if I am being rational, I also and always wanted to be financially stable
because finances are harder to manage nowadays considering the inflation and other necessary things we need such
as food which prices are continuously growing every single day.

2. Do the Benildean Expression (BenEx) of the Lasallian Core Values fit into your career and vocation plans? How? If
not, why not?
The Benildean Expression of the Lasallian Core Values definitely fit into my career and vocational plans because even
when I just started my Benildean journey, these expressions were already taught to us by our professors and how
we are able to differentiate the real world to my current situation, me being a student. These values are being
shown by the professors itself on how we can be able to cope even when we experience a drastic change from being
an undergrad to being employed.
