 Introduction

God created this earth for all living things, and everyone has rights in
it. Animal have their own set of rights, just as Humans have. The
concept of animal rights is to make the public aware that animals are
sensitive, they have emotions, they can't speak but they can
understand our feelings, but what we humans are doing is simply
killing them for fun, holding them in captivity for amusement, and
yes, some animals are sacrificed such as cows, goats, and so on so
that we can eat their meat, which is essential to survive and that is a
legitimate reason. However, some industries continue to suffocate
those animals by giving them power doses in order to produce more
and more profit. For example, many industries use power dosage
and extra feeds which cause cow to produce more milk or even those
doses increase their weight as well which allows them to give more
meat but that meat is no longer nutritious and instead of making you
healthy it makes you unhealthy. Animal Rights has a moral premise
which states that animals have the right to survive and the freedom
to reside. We have always entrenched the idea of human life
mattering, that every individual deserves freedom, but no one has
ever spoken out for animal rights. Because of us humans, many
diverse species are on the verge of extinction, such as the white
rhinoceros, the most valuable mammal on the planet, of which only
two are left alive in the entire globe and are now protected by the
government. The blue whale, the biggest sea mammal on the planet,
is also on the verge of extinction because whale hunting and the sale
of their skin has surged by 38% in the previous few years. And there
are many more species that we are all familiar with, such as tigers,
cheetahs, Asian elephants, penguins, polar bears, jaguars, and many
others. However, animal rights do not just refer to the protection of
wild animals; it also refers to the rights of pets. For example, many
people adopt animals for the sake of entertainment, but they do not
care for them once they grow poorly and then discarded on the
streets. There are industries that do business with pets as well, for
example, they capture animals from the streets illegally then sell
them for a small profit, which later die because of the sudden change
in environment, and some of them have diseases that are incurable,
but those industries don't care because they only want profit. They
also kidnap new born babies from the streets, which are then sold to
someone, and the result is some of them live while others die.
Because it takes about 8 weeks for a newborn to be able to survive
on their own. Many individuals now believe that animal welfare and
animal rights are equal. Animal rights is based on the belief that
animals should not be exploited by people for entertainment or for
their own benefit, whereas animal welfare is a philosophy aimed to
control the care of those animals who are enslaved or abducted by
humans for entertainment or for their own benefit. If things continue
as they are, there will be no living animals on the planet in a few
decades. However, thanks to support programs that raise awareness
of these terrible circumstances, there is hope that one day animals
will be treated appropriately by humans.
 Problem Statement

1) Ivory Trade:
Ivory trade is essentially a form of special hunting in which
hunters seek out ivory from elephants, walruses, and hippos.
Ivory is highly valued since it is used to make piano keys and a
number of other goods. Elephant populations have been
dwindling as a result of this practice, and ivory trafficking has
been outlawed in many nations.

2) Uses of Animal Skin:

Animal skin is used for a variety of applications. Snakes, lizards,
ostriches, zebras, kangaroos, elephants, crocodiles, alligators,
and sheep, lambs, and goats are among the animals whose skin
is used. Handbags, shoes, coats, jackets, gloves, blankets, and
other items are created from their skin.

3) Experiment on Animals:
Millions of animals, such as mice, birds, cats, dogs, rabbits, and
monkeys, are commonly used for cosmetic testing, which has
resulted in the deaths of over 500,000 animals and is now
banned in many countries, including New Zealand, Israel,
Norway, the European Union, and many others. Animals are
then injected with chemicals, causing diseases, skin reactions,
and many deaths as a result of these experiments.
4) Disastrous Fishing:
In Southeast Asia over 95% of reef are threatened due to
overfishing. As the demand of seafood increases, they start
overfishing which is more than the system support. In many of
the fishing methods explosive method is used to blast the coral
reefs to kill the fishes. They also use gill nets and gears for
fishing in result which causes threat to the sea animals because
if these nets are lost in the sea, they might get stuck on the
coral reefs which can cause death to many fishes because most
of the fishes are found near the reefs.

5) Puppy Farm:
In puppy farm all the dogs are put in an overcrowded wire
cages in which they are not given healthy food, nor water and
no proper veterinary system is provided to them. All the dogs
are kept in really poor conditions in result which causes serious
health issues and violent behavior of the dogs to solve these
problems it cost lots of money and sometimes it is difficult to
treat them. Over 2 million of dogs die due to their suffering of
health and poor conditions.

6) Factory farming:
The farmed chickens are handled with cruelty they are kept in
really small spaces and they are given low quality grain to eat.
The beaks of the chicken are cut of so that they do not kill each
other in fight. As comparing with other farm animals, the death
ratio of chicken is almost 9 billion each year and overall, 97% of
10 billion farm animals are tortured and killed. A law was
introduced in 1966 which was known as AWA (Animal Welfare
Act) which is the animal protection law. In which they protect
 dogs, cats and some other animals excluding mice, rat and
birds.

Possible Solution

1. Ivory Trade:
Ivory trade is a business that uses animal parts that have been
chopped or murdered to manufacture accessories, textiles, or
other things that are used for basic purposes. The most likely
solution to the ivory trade is to protect animal from hunters
who kill them and then try to sell their rare parts, such as
elephant tusks and rhinoceros’s horns. Now that the
government has taken action, these animals are being
protected from hunters in order to save their lives and species.

2. USING ANIMAL SKIN SOLUTION:

Killing of billions of animals for the making of various clothing
has now changed as the advancement of the textile industry
has now introduced earth-friendly vegan clothing material.
These vegan materials are lighter and durable. Cotton and
polyester are the two common vegan fabrics used and many of
us are familiar with it. They can also be made from eco-friendly
materials such as fruit waste and recycled plastic.

3. EXPERIMENTS ON ANIMALS:
In vitro is a Latin word meaning “in glass” meaning that the
testing is done inside a test tube and does not affect the living
organism. In vitro testing is an excellent alternative to live
animal testing as they are performed in laboratory using human
cells and tissues. In vitro testing has now been widely used by
many cosmetic industries as safe to test their cosmetic
 ingredients as this method does not require any harm to
animals.

4. DISASTROUS FISHING:
Essentially, it implies that we are harvesting fish faster than
they can reproduce, putting our ecology in threat, and this is
happening as our population grows. The best sustainable
approach is for the government to take notice and enable
individuals to capture healthy fisheries, such as managers using
various sorts of technical instruments to regulate fish
populations. For example, stock management to regulate the
size and population of fish, allowing fishermen to use restricted
gear and equipment, allowing fishermen to have seasonal
fishing limitations such as targeting a certain species at a limit,
and allowing various limited space for fishing on each season.
The most important thing is to stop illegal fishing, such as the
government taking action on illegalized smuggling of fishing
and exotic sea creatures such as blue whales, which are near
extinction due to these illegal fishermen, who have a high
impact on our ecosystem and not only whales but also coral
reef, exotic fishes, dolphins, and so on. Now is the time for the
government to act and put an end to illegal fishing.

5. Puppy Farming:
This industry is prevalent in many parts of Asia and the Middle
East. In addition, to aid in the prevention of puppy farming Pet
specialists give useful knowledge that aids in the elimination of
pet factories. Always avoid purchasing dogs online, especially
from advertisements and social media. Check if the mother of a
pet is nearby and safe, and double-check any vital documents
such as vaccination and microchip papers, etc. Check a puppy’s
eyes, nose, and ears to see whether they are in great shape.
Check for fleas as well, because fleas make animals worse than
 you can think. Most importantly, make sure the puppy is at
least eight weeks old before leaving his or her mother. These
are some fundamental guidelines, and by following them, you
will be assisting in the elimination of puppy farming.

6. Factory Farming:
This is the most widespread issue in animal rights, and it is
occurring all around the world. Essentially, there are simple
steps that may be taken to help put an end to factory farming.
For example, wherever possible, buy meat and dairy products
from local stores and farms rather than from factories. It is a
cost-effective approach to avoid wasting meat and dairy
products. We are all aware that consuming too much meat and
dairy products is harmful to our health in our modern day. The
major cause now is to avoid eating factory meat or other goods
because they don’t care whether the animal is healthy or not;
they don’t care if what they feed them is beneficial for his or
our health; they just worry about profit.
 Recommendation

There are various measures or steps one may take individually

or the society as in a whole to prevent such devastating issues and
help preserve the animal rights around the globe. One should start
from their own doorstep. No matter where we live, almost
everywhere we find stray animals around our neighborhoods and
streets which are infected, malnourished, abandoned like cats, dogs,
birds, rabbits etc. and are also tortured by kids or people who find it
amusing to do so. We should let in such animals in our homes and
take care of them as much as we can. We should get them
vaccinated, feed them with proper food and give them a healthy
diet, take care of their cleanliness & hygiene and give them a warm
welcoming feeling of home as most of the animals that are stray or
wander around the streets develop fear of people and become very
aggressive even when someone tries to approach them intending
just to help them overcome their poor situation.

We should also teach our children to be humble and kind towards

animals and make them develop a habit of owning a few pets from a
very young age. This habit alone can help us preserve animal rights in
long term and save the animals against any cruelty in future.

If someone witnesses or knowns a person that owns a pet and is not

a responsible owner, abuses the animal and does not look after
them, such a case shall be reported to the concerned department of
animal care and the Local Police of that area against that person.
 We should also raise awareness on a high scale in firms, schools,
colleges and on social media against those who hunt animals in the
wild in their natural habitat just for fun sake or their unique skins or
bodily importance which they sell for creating wealth by killing them.
We should hold campaigns in our local areas against such people and
demand our governments to not only take action against such
inhumane activities but also impose much more strict laws to ensure
animal safety, declare hefty-amount of penalties against the
perpetrators, and lawfully & legally penalize them in courts.

We should demoralize the owners of pet shops and also warn them
against the locking up of domestic animals for profits & wealth
creation. As a society we should also demand the development of
animal shelter homes in all states and our local areas where the
stray, abandoned or animals with abnormalities can live a safe,
secure and healthy life just like any other. We should also raise
awareness and advice the governments to take measures in regards
to recorded vaccination of all kinds of animals in the country.
Industries shall also be warned and educated towards violation of
animal rights for necessities & business and should opt for
alternative methods for the manufacturing of goods with the help of
technology.
 Conclusion

Despite living in the 21st century, being well educated and

informed about all kinds of rights and wrong, good or evil, we human
beings still live our lives neglectful of the lives we are surrounded
with and take everything for granted. There are animals that are left
to die out on the streets due to starvation & extreme weather
conditions, animals that are abandoned, animals that are abused and
killed not just in homes but in farms and industries just to satisfy our
needs. Animals aren’t just safe here around us but even in their own
natural habitats, in the wild, which are purposely killed for their
uniqueness or bodily value. Henceforth, we shall all take the
responsibility to not only educate and raise awareness on the
Preservation of Animal rights and of their safety & security, but also
bring about a practical change starting our own selves by giving
those speechless creatures clean food and access to clean drinking
water at least. If one has the space to pet or keep an abandoned
animal they should do so. File lawsuits against violators of animal
rights and abusive pet owners. Teach young children to be kind
towards animals and make the develop a habit of taking care of
animals. Demand stricter laws and punishments for violators of
animal rights and development of animal shelter homes etc.
