Statement of Commitment to Finish the
TIP

Being a teacher is not an easy task. To be one does not


only mean that you need to master the subject to be taught,
teach the students and finish your target lessons. Being a
teacher also means educating the students, motivating them to
always look at the brighter side of life, encouraging each to
seek for an opportunity and touching their hearts and lives,
because teaching and learning do not just end in the four
corners of the classroom, it continues outside and all of the
learners will be facing the wider and most challenging part of
their lives.
Being a neophyte in the teaching profession has never
been easy. It is one of the most challenging careers, yet
interesting. At first, I thought that after I become a public-
school teacher the journey will just focus on educating the
students and letting them learn, but I realized that in teaching,
the teacher must continue learning.
In teaching, improvement is a must, adaptation to the
new trend is necessary and professional growth is every
teacher’s obligation. The Teacher Induction Program (TIP) of
the Department of Education is one of the ways to let a
neophyte teacher like me grow even more professionally,
improve and learn more about the teaching profession.
Teaching profession requires commitment, therefore as a
teacher, I commit to a lifelong learning, serve the learners
academically and cooperate in achieving the DepEd’s
mission, vision and goals. Therefore, I commit to accomplish
this TIP anytime possible.
