RSPC-X32(CPU card) IP address modification by Telnet

Pre-requisition
Default IP address of new RSPC is [Link] or [Link]. (If you order RSPC with specific address, the IP address
will be marked on the sticker inside RSPC). So, if you change this IP address to other one, please remove RSPC([Link])
cards from baseboard. Otherwise, in case, duplicate IP address of RSPCs exist, telnet can access different RSPC. If any
duplicated IP address exists at both RSPC, telnet can access different RSPC. To avoid this error, please
insert the RSPC which you want to modify IP address at SSAS cabinet.
1. Click Start. Select Run.
2. Run window will appear.
telnet [Link]
3. Type telnet [Link] in command line. And click OK.
(You should know existing IP address. If you don’t know it, open the RSPC cover and check the number like below
picture.)
201 means that
its IP address is [Link]
IP format is [Link],
You just check last number.

5. Type cbp and press ENTER. This command will show IP address setting.
(FYI, command version is to get ROM version information. It is unnecessary to change IP address to know ROM version.)
After you see ‘.’ = clear field; ‘-‘ = go to previous field; ^D = quit line, press ENTER.
Press ENTER continuously until you see ‘inet on ethernet (e)’ line.
At ‘inet on ethernet (e)’ line, type new IP address.
VxWorks login : spro
Password: xcvsdfwer <- Typed password is invisible. After typing
password, press ENTER keyboard.
: Press ENTER keyboard
Type new IP address and press
ENTER keyboard.
Confirm modified IP address
6. After you confirm the modification, press ‘Ctrl’ + ‘X’ keyboard together.
Then, modification will be saved and telnet will be disconnected.

7. Repeat step 2 with new IP address to access telnet access.
If you can login with new IP address, IP address was changed correctly. And then close TELNET window.
