ANNOTATION
As a mathematics teacher, I always employ
research-based learning activities so that the learners
will have opportunity to gather first-hand information
from real-life context and relate the concepts learned
in school to reality. Some of the activities made by my
students in their research-based learning is conducting
interview, data gathering, observing patterns, on-line
research and making graphic organizers. With the said
activities, students become more active learners.
Furthermore, the knowledge imparted to students will
not just be limited within the four corners of the
classroom.
ANNOTATION
Mathematics instructions have been very
challenging in my 5 years of teaching. But one of best
teaching strategies effective in mathematics students I
have observed is board works and drills. These two
activities are both learner-centered.
