Software Project Management Assignment

This document outlines the requirements for Assignment 2 which is due on November 5th. It involves constructing network diagrams and determining critical paths for 3 different project scenarios involving multiple tasks/activities with prerequisites and durations. Students must show the critical path, determine slacks, and calculate floats between activities. The highest point value questions involve drawing the network diagrams and identifying the critical paths for each scenario.

ii. Determine the slack for each task and clearly deduce the critical path for the
project.[5]
3. You have to manage a project with activities and their respective durations as listed in
Table 1 below:
i. Construct a precedence diagram to analyze your project. [5]
ii. What is the project duration? [2]
iii. What are the critical activities? [2]
iv. Show the critical path on your precedence diagram. [2]
v. When is the latest time that activity G must be completed in order that the project is
not delayed? [2]
vi. When is the earliest time that activity D can possibly be completed? [2]
