Script: Intro: What do you think will happen if Rizal lived like one of us as an Atenean in the year 2011,

going through the same academic rigor and hellweeks as we do, but at the same time promoting his revolutionary ideas and battling his detractors to defend it? This is not just your ordinary play; this is your 21st century Rizal.

1st scene: Rizal and Blum having lunch on wht. polos talking about a proposed dresscode. B: You know, it`s so warm sa Arneyohw R:My bad (scoffs, snickers). But I think its this oppressive dresscode that makes us sweat all over. I think we should have a new one (DISCUSS OVER NEW DERSSCODE.) F overhears and protests: You try to interfere with the rules? (Rants why dresscode should be promoted and why ideas from other schools are bad to the current system in the school) F then is countered by B&R and F leaves angrily, assuring R that his Theo grades will be F because of that and strictly enforces the dresscode The next day 2nd scene: B&R wear their blazers in stark contrast to F wearing only minimal attire. B&R: Dresscode pala, ha!? As F leaves, B&R talk about the abuses F makes and R proposes to B his work, the Noli, B affirms, stating it is a good way of making the students aware of their rights and identity. The next day 3rd scene: B&R talk about publishing the Noli as R shares different thoughts on the Noli to B R: I think the situation in Arneyohw, in general, is very bad. Aside from being divided, the students are apathetic and the system here hasnt changed, just as my grandfather told my father who told me the same. I think I should represent that with the house of Tiago here in my work. (CITE PARALLEL IMAGES OF NOLI TO NATIONALISM HERE) and proposes things, saying that this should be aimed to the friars. B agrees and adds to the proposals, saying it should also be aimed at the students. F overhears it again; he gets really angry, saying Ganyan ba tinuturo sa inyo? Susmaryosep! Throws rants etc. then leaves. A week later 4th scene: Noli is now published, as everybody reads it, so does F F angrily passes out counter hand outs too saying in the end This is not over! I shall return!. B&R face each other, then smiles, as R says to B, Change is on its way. Its on its way. 5th scene: 50 Years later in Arneyowh You know what happened next. Change has been established, thanks to a bold move of a student inspired positively by a foreigner friend and negatively by a priest. **FINAL WORDS FOR REFLECTION**
