Mock Job Interview

Learning Competencies:

1. Critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication

2. Literary skills (information, media, and technology literacy)

3. Life skills (flexibility, initiative, social skills, productivity, and leadership)

4. Exemplify ethical and spiritual values, conscience, commitment, and competence inside

and outside the school’s peripheries.

Guidelines:

1. Each interviewer will be provided with an assigned venue or a breakout Google Meet

link for the Work Immersion mock job interview. The interviewers are expected to be on

the link on or before the designated time.

2. Interviews should be limited to a maximum of 10-minutes per student.

3. Guide questions will be provided. The interviewer may ask his/her own question and may

also give follow-ups if necessary.

4. A Google Drive folder link with interviewees’ Resume & Cover Letter will be provided for

references.

5. Each interviewer will be added to a Google chat space(group) with the Work Immersion

teacher to facilitate the flow of the interview. After each interview the interviewer must

inform through Google Chat Space(group) the Work Immersion teacher to notify the

next interviewee on queue.

6. For documentation, interviewers are requested to take screenshots of the interview

process. They may upload it through the provided Google Drive after the process.
7. The interviewees must observe proper behavior and apply the skills as expected from

them. See the rubric for the mock job interview.

Guide Questions. The following questions may be used for the interview. Follow-up questions may

be given to the interviewees if necessary.

1. Tell me something about yourself that you didn’t include on your resume.

2. Why did you apply for the opening?

3. What can you do better for us than the other applicants?

4. How do you handle stress and pressure?

5. How will you manage possible difficulties and challenges in work?

6. What significant contribution can you share with the institution or the company?

7. How do you make sure that you and your colleagues remain accountable?

8. Describe an issue you once encountered. How did you solve it?

9. Why should we not hire you?

10. How would you define success for this job
