1-Building descriptions
A) Location: this building is located at cairo.
B) Specifications: Building consists of
- Foundation: at level (-1.50 S.S.L)

- End Roof Floor: at level (+8.40)

C) Dimension of building:
This building cover area of 25 meter horizontally and 25 meter vertically.

D) Soil properties:
- qall = 150 KN/m2

2-Design Life:
- The design life of Building is approximately 50 years.
3- Analysis and models
The following outlines the details of analysis and design software
used for the project.

SAP2000
- SAP2000 was utilized for the stability analysis of the building
and design of vertical structural elements
- The building will analyzed in three dimensional (3D) as a
model in SAP2000.

CSI Column
-Design column and check steel reinforcement of columns.

a) Foundation:
consists of isolated footing with thickness 500 mm , well isolated.

b)Panelled frame system

c) End Roof floor:


Consists of horizontal solid slab and domes at level +8.40 m.

5-Design Building codes


- ECP 203-2007 for concrete design.
- ECP 201-2012 for load.
6-Structural Materials
The used material:
A) Concrete: consist of - Portland cement
- Fine aggregate
- Coarse aggregate
- Water
25% cement paste, 75% aggregate & Fcu = 30 MPa

B) Steel:
Fy = (400/600) MPa high tensile steel for main bars and secondary
bars.
Fy= (240/360) MPa mild steel for stirrups.
c) Finishing materials:
- Sand  ɣsand = 18 KN/m3
- Bricks  ɣBricks = 15 KN/m3
- Marble  ɣmarble = 28 KN/m3
