INT. JACK’S BASEMENT - NIGHT

JACK is leaning on a round table with crude drawings of the

layout of the highschool on it. CHRIS, PAUL, and ALEX stand
around the table staring in disbelief. Jack’s twin brother
STAN sits in the corner and reads a textbook (all 17).

PAUL
That is the dumbest Idea I’ve ever
heard. Let me get this straight,
you want to steal the answer sheet
instead of just doing the study
guide?

JACK
Yeah that’s exactly what I want to
do

PAUL
(Judgmental)
Okay cool, and just for
clarification, you want us to help
you execute an elaborate heist to
steal this answer sheet?

JACK
Yeah, I thought I made that pretty
clear. Look, I have a D+, Alex has
a C-, Chris has a C+ but needs a B
before he can get a car, and your
parents will freak out if you get
anything less than an A on your
report card, this is the best way
to pass the class without studying

PAUL
(Shouting)
Why can’t we just study?

Jack points at Stan

JACK
(Shouting)
Because studying is for loser nerds
like my brother over there

STAN
I heard that, jerk! If I catch you
guys heisting anything I’m telling
the principal.

JACK
Go upstairs, your dumb studying
thing is ruining our scheming.

Stan walks out in a huff.

STAN (O.S.)
(Shouting)
Why can’t you just do the study
guide like a normal person?

PAUL
Okay Jack, you made your point, but
can you run that plan by me again?

JACK
Sure, now like I said before-

CUT TO:

EXT. HIGHSCHOOL - MONDAY MORNING

A car screeches to a halt infront of the school and Jack,

Paul, Alex, and Chris clamber out and rush into the school.
White text saying “Monday, 7:30 A.M.” appears on the screen
as the group run up the steps. Heist music begins playing.

JACK
(V.O.)
We arrive precisely at 7:30 A.M.
and split up.

CUT TO:

INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - MOMENTS LATER

JACK (V.O.)
First, Chris is going to find
JANITOR JAN.

Chris and Janitor Jan walk down the hall towards each other.

JACK
And then Chris will bump into her.

Chris bumps into Janitor Jan.

JACK (CONT'D)
When he bumps into her, Chris is
gonna pick Jan’s pocket and grab
her keys.

CLOSE UP

Chris reaches his hand into Jan’s pocket and pulls out a ring
of keys. Chris walks away

CHRIS
Sorry for hitting you Ma’am

Jan huffs and Chris walks to the supply closet.

JACK (V.O.)
Chris will unlock the supply closet

Chris unlocks the supply closet revealing two sparkling clean

janitor uniforms

JACK (CONT'D)
Where Chris will grab two janitor
uniforms and hand them and the keys
off to me and Paul

Chris hands the uniforms and the keyring to Jack and Paul

JACK (CONT'D)
Then me and Paul will run to the
bathroom and change into the
costumes

CUT TO:

INT. BATHROOM - MORNING

Paul and Jack zip up their perfectly fitting uniforms in

unison and walk out the door

JACK (V.O.)
We’ll walk on over to my locker and
grab the brooms I stashed there for
that witch halloween prank we did

CUT TO:

INT. INFRONT OF JACK’S LOCKER - MOMENTS LATER

CLOSE UP OF LOCKER

Jack opens the locker and he and Paul grab the brooms in
unison.

ALEX (V.O.)
Wait I thought I was gonna be a
janitor with you guys.

JACK (V.O.)
You were, but then Stan threatened
us. He’s gonna be at school early
for band practice, and I need you
to distract him once he gets out so
that he doesn’t catch us.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLWAY OUTSIDE OF BAND ROOM - MORNING

Alex walks up to Stan

ALEX
I’ll give you twenty bucks if you
stare at that wall for 10 minutes.

Alex points to a nearby wall

STAN
Half up front.

ALEX
Deal.

Alex hands Stan a ten dollar bill as Stan turns to stare at a

wall

CUT TO:

INT. HALLWAY OUTSIDE OF BATHROOM - MORNING

JACK (V.O.)
Ok where was I? Oh right! After
Chris gives us the uniforms Chris
needs to run over to the teacher’s
lounge

Chris hands the uniforms to Jack and Paul and runs off

CUT TO:
 5.

INT. OUTSIDE OF TEACHERS’ LOUNGE - MORNING

JACK (V.O.)
Once Chris gets there he has to
keep MR. MAGISTER occupied until we
can get the answer sheet from his
classroom.

Chris runs up to Mr. Magister, says something while pointing

to a wall, Mr. Magister responds, Chris hands Mr. Magister a
10 dollar bill as he turns to stare at a wall.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLWAY OUTSIDE OF MR. MAGISTER’S CLASSROOM - MORNING

JACK (V.O.)
While Chris does that, me and Paul
are gonna unlock Magister’s
classroom

CLOSE UP OF KEY TURING IN DOOR KNOB

JACK (V.O.)
Paul is going to stand guard
outside pretending to sweep while I
sneak into the classroom

Paul whistles and pretends to sweep while Jack sneaks into

the classroom.

CUT TO:

INT. MR. MAGISTER'S CLASSROOM - MORNING

JACK (V.O.)
Once I’m in I’ll need to do a bunch
of cool flips and stuff to avoid
the high tech laser security system
that’s guarding the answer sheet.

Jack makes his way across the room and does a bunch of cool
flips and stuff to avoid the many laser tripwires guarding
his path.

JACK (CONT'D)
Once I’m past the security I’ll
grab the answer sheet and jump out
a window.
 6.

Jack lifts the lid off of a display case that contains the
answer sheet and grabs it. Jack then opens a window and
leaves through it.

CUT TO:

EXT. OUTSIDE WINDOW OF MAGISTER’S CLASSROOM - MORNING

JACK (V.O.)
After I’m through the window I’ll
run back around to the main
entrance

Jack runs through the main entrance

CUT TO:

INT. OUTSIDE OF LIBRARY - MORNING

JACK (V.O.)
And then I’ll run to the library
where I’ll use the copier to make
copies of the

Jack runs into the library and makes copies of the answer
sheet

CUT TO:

INT. HALLWAY OUTSIDE OF MR. MAGISTER'S CLASSROOM - MORNING

JACK (V.O.)
We’ll ditch the disguises and meet
up outside of the classroom where
we’ll memorize the answers ten
minutes before class starts and
we’ll all ace the test

CUT TO:

INT. MR. MAGISTER'S CLASSROOM - MORNING

Mr. Magister hands Jack a piece of paper with a big red A on

it.

CUT TO:

INT. JACK'S BASEMENT - NIGHT

JACK
Did you guys get all that

Everyone responds with variations of yes

JACK (CONT'D)
Check it out I even went out and
bought walkie talkies for all of us
so we can stay in contact

Jack passes out walkie talkies to everyone

JACK (CONT'D)
Okay now everyone go home and get
some sleep, we have a big day
tomorrow!

Everyone walks out of the basement

CUT TO:

EXT. HIGHSCHOOL - MONDAY MORNING

INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - MORNING

Chris is walking around the halls aimlessly. Chris takes out

the walkie talkie and puts it up to his mouth

CHRIS
Uh, guys I can’t find the janitor
anywhere

CUT TO:

INT. HALLWAY OUTSIDE OF SUPPLY CLOSET - MORNING

Paul and Jack are standing outside the supply closet waiting.
Paul holds the walkie talkie up to his face.

PAUL
What do you mean you can’t find
her? We need those keys!

Jack starts ramming the door to the supply closet with his
shoulder in an attempt to open it.

CHRIS (O.S. OVER THE WALKIE)

I mean I can’t find- What’s that
noise?

PAUL
Jack is trying to break open the
door

CHRIS
Did he check to see if it was
unlocked first?

PAUL
Hey jack did you check to see if
the door’s unlocked?

Jack turns the doorknob and the door swings open revealing
two dirty janitor’s uniforms

JACK
You couldn’t have suggested that
before I bruised my shoulder?

Jack and paul grab the uniforms and run off

CUT TO:

INT. BATHROOM - MORNING

Jack and Paul zip up their uniforms in unison and run out of
the bathroom. The uniforms are clearly too large

CUT TO:

INT. INFRONT OF JACK’S LOCKER - MOMENTS LATER

CLOSE UP OF LOCKER

Jack opens the locker and he and Paul grab the brooms in
unison.

CUT TO:

INT. HALLWAY OUTSIDE OF BAND ROOM - MORNING

 9.

MULTIPLE FAST CUT CLOSE UP SHOTS IN A ROW, ALEX POINTING AT

THE WALL, STAN HOLDS HIS HAND OUT AND ALEX PUTS TEN DOLLARS
IN IT STAN FACING THE WALL

ALEX (TALKING TO WALKIE)

Okay guys, Stan’s distracted how
are you guys doing?

CUT TO:

INT. HALLWAY OUTSIDE OF BATHROOM - MORNING

Jack and paul run to the classroom, while Chris runs to the
teacher’s lounge.

CHRIS (TALKING TO WALKIE)

I couldn’t find the janitor so
we’re way behind schedule, we only
have a few minutes before class
starts, get to the library.

Chris almost runs right into Mr. Magister as he rounds a

corner.

CHRIS (CONT'D)
Oh hi Mr, Magister, uh, you should
go to the, uhhhh, cafeteria. Yeah!
They’re giving out free, uh, donuts
and stuff.

MR. MAGISTER
(Cheerful)
Oh! Thank you for letting me know
Chris, you better get to class, you
wouldn’t want to miss the big test.

Chris runs in the direction of the library

CUT TO:

INT. HALLWAY OUTSIDE OF MR. MAGISTER'S CLASSROOM - MORNING

Paul and jack are standing in front of the door, Jack is

rubbing his shoulder as if he had just tried to ram the door
open.

PAUL
What if you just tried the knob
again

Jack turns the doorknob and the door opens. Jack walks in.

JACK
(exasperated)
Is anything in this school
ever locked?

JACK (CONT'D)
(sarcastic)
I bet I can just open the
desk too.

Jan the janitor walks past paul, who is sweeping the floor

JAN
What do you think you’re doing kid?

PAUL
Uhhh, janitor... things...

JAN
Don’t lie to me kid

PAUL
Okay, you got us, we’re doing a
heist to steal an answer sheet

JAN
I don’t get paid enough to care,
have fun kid.

Jan walks off and paul releases a breath he didn’t realize he

was holding

CUT TO:

INT. MR. MAGISTER'S CLASSROOM - MORNING

Jack rummages through Mr. Magister’s desk in search of the

answer sheet.

JACK
(mumbling)
What kind of stupid classroom
doesn’t even have lasers

Jack pulls the answer sheet out of the desk dramatically

JACK (CONT'D)
(shouting)
I found it! Lets get to the
library, fast!

Jack rushes out of the room and Paul follows him to the
library.

CUT TO:

INT. LIBRARY - MORNING

Chris and Alex are waiting at the copy machine as Jack and
Paul rush in. Jack slams the sheet on the machine and press
copy. The machine begins printing out a paper but then it
jams.

JACK
What? Come on! Really? Now? How do
we fix the copy thing?

CUT TO BLACK.

INT. LIBRARY - THIRTY MINUTES LATER

The machine spits out the last paper and Chris snatches it
up. White text appears that reads “Monday, 8:36 A.M.”

ALEX
How long did that take?

CHRIS
I dunno, five minutes maybe, I
heard the bell ring a little bit
ago

JACK
Ok so we’ll be a little late, big
deal, lets get over there, we can’t
miss this test.

The four of them run out of the library.

CUT TO:

INT. MR. MAGISTER'S CLASSROOM - MORNING

The group bursts into the classroom as a bell rings

PAUL
Yes! Right on time!

MR. MAGISTER
Actually, that was the second
period bell, why were you four
unable to come to class?

Paul, Jack, Alex, and Chris start making multiple excuses at

once as the rest of the class leaves the room.

MR. MAGISTER (CONT'D)

What are those papers you have in
your hands

Magister takes a paper out of Chris’s hand and reads it.

MR. MAGISTER (CONT'D)

Did you really miss my class and
the test because you were trying to
cheat on the test? This isn’t even
this the right answer sheet.

JACK
Well, uhh, you see...

MR. MAGISTER
I am very disappointed in you four.
I’m giving you all zeroes and I
want you all to see me after
school, now get moving, you’re
about to be late to second period.

Jack, Paul, Chris, and Alex walk out of the classroom with
defeated looks on their faces. Stan is waiting outside the
classroom, Alex hands Stan ten dollars.

STAN
So, you guys all got zeroes?

JACK
Shut up.

STAN
You know, the test was the exact
same as the study guide. If you had
just done that you probably would
have gotten perfect scores.

JACK
I hate you, I hate, the school, and
I hate mr. Magister, he’s so
unfair.

CHRIS
Now that I’m thinking about it, we
didn’t even need to make copies of
the answer sheet, we could’ve all
just read the original one, we
didn’t each need our own.

Alex smacks Jack in the back of the head. Jack, Paul, Chris,
and Alex all walk off to their second class of the day.

FADE TO BLACK.
