Overview
Huawei NetEngine 8000 M8 routers are mainly used in the following scenarios: access and aggregation, private line, data
center egress, and data center interconnection. They help to provide a simplified and intelligent IP bearer network solution
featuring simplified architecture, smart connection, and committed high availability.

The Integrated Network Processing Unit (IPU) is responsible for the control plane and data plane functions of the entire Network
Element (NE), such as device management, device control, and data forwarding.
