Often the same future event can be described in different ways:
The shop closes at 3 p.m tomorrow.
The shop is closing at 3 p.m tomorrow.
The shop is going to close at 3 p.m tomorrow.
The shop will close at 3 p.m tomorrow.
Which way you choose to describe something depends on some criteria:
