About Drop Map:
- Drop maps are maps built to give you the best possible drop at your building. You
can purchase drop maps from people on twitter. Simply search, drop map maker or
look up a tutorial on how to make a drop map. I honestly don’t know how myself
sorry lol
- Variety drops. If there’s a location with several loot paths or several buildings
close together, aim between all those loot paths, and pull towards the one that
looks the safest. This can maximize your survival rate. Just lookout for being shot
from the sky
- When scouting where everyone is going, keep in mind where they land so you know
where to rotate to avoid or fight
- Landing at a POI and dipping out after looting your building is a viable option.
The Drop Spot Checklist:
- Where to get max metal
- How to rotate through your loot spawns the most efficient
- Best things to farm through your loot spot
- Where to get car
- Where to get tires for car
- Potential places to disengage to
- Are there vantage points that you can land on to shoot people out the sky
- Are there vending machines that can give you guaranteed loot off spawn
- If you get out dropped, are there cars you can get in to run
- One of the best things to do is give yourself multiple loot paths based on where
opponents go.
Early game:
1. Time
2. Mats
3. Heals
"Time is your most important resource so use it wisely"
While Landing:
- The IGL should scout for people contesting
- The flagger should be the one to get the weapon first to fight
- Try to have a protected sightline: Its where you can see the enemy, but they
can't see you
- The IGL should plan for a disengage or look towards the rotation if needed
- The Fragger should locate the enemy and look for a fight
- You need to get the control of the surrounding area by pre-claiming as many build
pieces as you can.
- If you are in a fight you need to finish the fight a quick as possible in order
to avoid any 3rd parties
- Try to always have max mats especially max metal
Fighting off spawn tips:
- A lot of times, you’ll be able to disengage if you aren’t ready to fight. You
need to stay
aware of where enemies land and where they rotate while you’re looting
- If you ever get in a fight with more than 1 player off spawn, claim a building,
farm the
building while branching. Initiate a box fight.
- When you get low on mats, claim a building and farm while initiating a box
fight.. If they
are hard pushing you, run through the building and camp right hand peaks while
farming
- Avoid running to the center of a poi. Try to think about who has angles on you
when you
push certain areas of your landing spot. You CANNOT get looked at by multiple
players
off spawn.
Leaving your DropSpot:
1. Deal with any storm
2. Focusing on Rotations
3. W-Keying
Zone 1
1. Plan out your drop spot and looting path by going on to “[Link]” it will
literally give advantage over 99.9% of players in the tournament and test it in
arena.
2. When the first zone appears, you need to be ready to get in a car as soon as the
first zone starts pulling make sure you are 555 mats and now get into the dead side
of the first zone as soon as possible start moving towards the dead side of 1st
zone.
Zone 2
If find yourself outside the second zone you need to be really quick and cannot
hesitate for even five seconds, try to rotate to a higher elevation if not then
it's not a huge problem but now you need to sit in a box and if you are in a higher
elevation than build like this.
Mid-game:
The main aim here is to survive while preserving all your resources. Look for
advantageous situations before committing to any sort of fight because this is the
worst time to be eliminated.
Where to position:
Where you should position exactly varies depending on how much surge you have
gotten during early-game or during the rotation out of your drop. If you have
gotten a fair amount of surge (300 400) you should be good for 70 surge, unless
there is 85 99 up. This means you can position yourself closer to the center of
zone because you won't need to position yourself on hotside to get tags. If you
eliminate a team off-spawn and get tags on the rotate, you should be chilling for
70 surge and can greed out on your positioning by going dead middle.
Rotations:
Currently, in the game there are a fair number of items that can be used for
rotates. The best for Mid-game is Cars (4-Doors & Lambos w/ Big Tires) and the Web
Shooters. Unless your drop guarantees Spiderman s, it is important to find a Car
nearby that you can use to rotate. Realistically, depending on your positioning and
game knowledge you should be able to keep a car until at least 4th zone. Peppers,
Chili s, and Launch Pads should be saved from half-in half-out and moving zones.
Unless you have many Peppers then you can use some of them to rotate. However, if
you are in a poor position, it is best to use your rotation items, then to die with
them.
Mid-Game fighting:
Types of Fights:
- W-key Fights
- Profited Fights
- Defensive Fights
W-Key Fights:
- This is when you decide to devote a full game in getting as many kills as
possible and you initiate fights and play as aggressive as you can.
- Understanding that people will 3rd party you if the fight carries on for too
long.
- The IGL will give commands and Fragger will execute it.
Profited Fights:
- These fights are the once you take when you do a damage to an opponent and then
after you decide to w-key them in order to secure the elimination points.
- But also focus on finishing the fights quickly.
- If you and your duo attack from two different sides and squeeze them together in
order to box them and finish the fight quickly.
Defensive Fights:
- These fights are the once where you are getting w-keyed and you have to deal with
winning the fight when the opponent is attacking you aggressively.
- Play defensively rather than trying to play more aggressively than your opponent.
- Always stay together with your duo during any fight and hitting your shots is the
key to success in duos.
Positioning:
Your position and rotations will determine:
- How much surge you will get?
- How good your loot is?
- How you will perform in the entire game?
End-game Priority:
If you follow the strategies above, you should be in an amazing position for end-
game. It is most important that you build duo chemistry and be constantly
communicating what is happening between you and your duo. The two most important
things about end-game are having great communication and staying in a good
position. The layer, when to rotate, and how to rotate all depends on what items
you have. Most of the time, staying in the frontside of zone is the safest option
to survive and earn the big placement points. After finishing a game, if you have
time before the next game. Go back in the VOD and watch it over with your teammate.
Specifically, focusing on end-game and talking together on what both of you could
have done better. You should aim to leave this with an understanding of what went
wrong and how you can improve on it together.

End-game: Sometimes you’ll feel like you can’t win the game but remember that just
surviving to Top 3 or Top 5 is really valuable so generally have survival in your
mind rather than winning. Stay front-side of moving zones and look back to get
those refreshes that keep you going and also help top-off your points.
When and when not to Fight:
1. (Element of Surprise)
You should fight when you are stacked and you have the ability to catch a team off
guard.
2. (Refresh)
When you are in shambles and you are in need of loot mats and heals/health.
3. (Looking Behind)
If you and your IGL is ahead of zone and have the ability to look back.
Rotating using Movement
- Sprinting
- Mantling
- Sliding
Natural Rotation
- Rifts
- Spider man
- Shockwave
- Bounce pads
- Grappler
- Animals
Building Editing
- Tarping
- If you are setting low ground its not a very good idea because its usually seen
as being scuffed which means players down their will usually will try to fight you
whenever rotating so its preferred not to set low ground for half n half and for
first moving.
- While using a launchpad landing into safe zone on an elevated layer must be
prioritized.
- Now when you are in the zone try to look for as much surge tags as possible.
- Its generally better to position your self at higher in order to avoid the chaos
of low ground and mid ground.
- If you have no movement invest materials to move deeper into the zone to re-use
pads and scout teams below you
- If you are lacking heals try to position your self deeper into the zone so that
you get time to take right fights and position yourself in the best way possible.
- Generally setting low ground is seen as being scuffed which means players will
try to fight you when ever rotating so we don't recommend setting low ground for
half and half and first moving.
- Low ground can be useful for dead-side rotates or to rotating down a mountain
which are very effective on low ground to get into front side of zone but requires
RNG to work in its favour.
- Low ground allows you to make aggressive plays and get more kills and materials
by killing other players than going on higher layer.
Main Layers: Low ground, Mid ground and High ground
Low Ground: Just as many benefits as high ground, able to save a decent amount of
materials in your tarp. You're able to find scuffed players and get more kills.
It's dangerous though because since everyone will try to jump into your box.
Mid Ground: These are all the layers between height and low ground, mid ground gets
sandwich by height and low which means it's difficult to play. Majority of the
benefits for this layer comes from being able to control your own game without much
danger from other players.
High Ground: Most coveted layer in entire game because you're able to use less
materials and have control on entire game, allowing you to get more kills. It is
the most coveted layer though, meaning players will always try to fight you for
height.
Utilizing launchpads:
Where to land? (1st Moving)
- Many players make the mistake that the pad should only be used to get back to the
front side of the zone.
- What you should look for is to land short with your launchpads in the first
moving and invest your mats to avoid random fights or shots happening.
- If the zone pulls straight forward land on the left or right side depending on
where the congested side is remember where half and half zone was to know which
side is congested. Land on dead side and build up from there.
- If the zone pulls sideways land on the part of the zone that is going to be
opening up it will allow you to walk across towards the other side and use other
players tarp.
- Land with your teammates don't block behind you if you are the one landing first.
Open up the side and front and communicate with your teammate to block off behind
you once they land.
If no Launchpad then:
- Positioning: Positioning is very important especially in situations where you
don't have a lot of mobility. You always want to keep yourself elevated because
it's much easier to scout out for launchpads when you are above someone rather that
below.
- Zone-Positioning: When you don't have mobility you can't afford on being at the
back side of zone because everyone ahead will be waiting for you to rotate and you
will most likely end up getting lobby spayed. you want to be ahead because then
you'll be able to reuse their launchpads.
- Tank-Storm: This is another strategy you can use, tanking storm in order to find
launchpads that were previous used by other players.
Zone 4
It is all about scouting and thinking of rotation paths you can take into the fifth
zone what you need to do is think: How do I rotate if the fifth zone pulls to the
direction of 'NORTH', 'SOUTH', 'EAST' or 'WEST' and have a pre-planned rotate in
your head before the fifth zone even appears but what if you don't have a 'PAD' or
'SPIDER-MAN' (You might be thinking what do I do should I wait for someone to place
a 'PAD' or what ? So, hear it is …
If you exit from the front side the whole lobby will see you so always exit from
back and remember its always to use a few 100 mats rather than getting RNG.
Zone 5 or the 50/50 Zone
During zone five you need to base up using metal its stupid to use brick because it
makes chances of getting lobby sprayed 5x higher if you played your game correctly
you should be having 1200 mats in the fifth zone if you find yourself with 1200
mats without even a single elimination you should pat yourself at your back you
played a high level of Fortnite this far speaking of elimination this is the
perfect zone to look for refresh if you need one to get 1200 mats if you get an
elimination do not greed for more eliminations this will make the chances of you
getting sprayed Soo much higher so you need to be in the center or I mean the area
that has just opened up.
ZONE 6 or the First Moving Zone
Now what you need to do is follow the tarps in other words you need to stay in a
box or in the builds build before by sone one else and use zero mats if you find
you self-getting stuck over there then you need to spray the floor and get out of
it. Hear you need to be using wood to rotate and if you get shot then instantly
switch to brick if you get into the first moving zone you need not stop moving you
need to get deeper into the zone.
ZONE 7 or the Second Moving Zone
1. Max Distance Zone Pull or keep going
You need to keep moving or rotating listen if the second moving pulls max distance,
then you have the perfect opportunity to go all the way in front and start looking
back at height what you need to do is simply start cranking up for Hight and
calming it and remember you do-not want to stop cranking to shot bullets it will
stop your momentum heavily when going for height and a third party team will see
that you are fighting the Hight team and come out on the top what you need to do is
to build away from the team back in and you do not need to connect to them this is
as long as the team up their is properly established height is better than ever and
you must have the guts to go for it so build over the Hight instead trying to fight
them.
If the Second Moving Zone Pulls either Right or Left
You need to claim the dead side for yourself and not to keep moving deep in if you
need a refresh and don't fight for height because it too risky.
2. But what if it Pulls Back
You just need to follow you little cute first moving tarp, right? No, wrong if the
second moving pulls right back to where the you coming or from where you rotated in
you want to build around and get to the dead side if you go back from where you
came into the second moving then you will be heavily contested and you will be
having a much bigger chance of getting randomly w-keyed by a scuffed team and as
said if you played your game right then you should be having more than enough mats
to build around with the second moving zone pulls and all of a sudden you will be
having the best position moving into 3rd moving zone giving you a chance to get a
ton of refresh eliminations but one thing you need to keep in mind is that to
moving all the way into it just like the first moving zone because you need to
potentially be in the dead side of second moving zone.
Zone 8 or the Third moving zone
1. Further on Zone or Max Distance Pull
The millisecond you see this you need to drop down slide frontage and claim, claim,
claim don't be afraid to take a few storms damage if you have to remember zone
swaps are the perfect time for layer changing every game you play you have to make
a call do I go for low or di I go for height playing midground most of the time
grant you top three, four or five but we are playing to win and qualify for the
next round.
2. But what if it Pulls Back
If it pulls Back you want to rotate and get to the dead side.
The zone swape between the third moving and final moving is often the zone and most
of the player find their self with low HP and nearly no mats so you need to get int
the zone first so when the scuffed players drop down with no mats you can get those
elimination see Hight is the best option but if you can't get it stay in low ground
is by far the best option.
Zone 9 Final moving zone
Hopefully you have Height or Low ground if you are at height all you need to do is
to keep spraying the players under you but if you are low ground and you need to be
the team or you staying always ahead of the zone.
