Theme
The theme of this story is about patriotism, war and love. This essay indicates how a person can
regarded as a hero or insignificant person based on their contribution and their moral. Any can be a hero
and anyone who makes sacrifices for the people, can either be for many people or or for one, they
should be respected.
Events
The event that happen in the story is about the soldiers who died for the people and those others who
died for exploiting others. It's said in the essay how this sacrifices weighted, it can be as heavy as mount
Tai or as lighter than a feather.
Human experience
Their are many people who sacrifice their lives for the peace. A great examples are soldiers and
missionaries. Soldiers go to war to preserve the peace of the country while the missionaries go around
the world helping or giving the people in need to give them hope in this world.
Myself.
I maybe just a student and can't be compared to their sacrifices, but I, as a child of our family work hard
so that I can support my family in the near future. I think this is enough for a student who also struggles
in life.
Reflection
This essay give a life lesson. Anyone can called a hero as long as you commit action for the good of
yourself and others. Even a student like me can be a hero by just doing small things that can help our
society. People should always think of others before doing something, because we are not the only one
who struggles to live in this world this days. But this struggles must be seen as challenge that we must
pass and never ever rely on despicable means to pass.
