Introduction
Using a personal SWOT analysis, this project will consider critical abilities and give insight into
a student's professional goals and potential paths to work following graduation. Additionally, a
SWOT analysis will point up potential career paths depending on the skillsets that have been
found. The assignment will cover a wide range of advancement opportunities as well as some of
the barriers that stand in the way of a student's ability to further improve their core abilities or
pursue a profession after graduation.

Task
Key competences
As I have grown older, I have come to know that students like me need a variety of abilities and
traits in order to get a job in the future. I have worked hard to hone a variety of talents and
abilities that I hope will help me get better jobs and enable me to perform my job duties to the
best of my ability (Di Gregorio et al., 2019).

my talents in the future. My inability to utilise software and other IT
technologies will limit my work prospects.
Professionally, I will be hampered by my
inability to manage my time well.

I also have certain flaws that I must overcome in order to advance in my current profession and
future graduate employment options. I am ambitious, industrious, and good at teamwork and
problem solving.
As seen in my last SWOT analysis, I possess a variety of traits, skills, and abilities that will help
me find employment after graduation. Because I am a new graduate, these gaps will prevent me
from getting adequate career prospects (Kenayathulla et al., 2019). I need to improve on my
limitations and skill gaps to be productive in my future professional responsibilities. I have
understood that it's my obligation to keep my options open for future training and growth so I
can keep improving my skills and abilities.
Career prospects
After carefully evaluating my main abilities, I have determined three particular employment
positions that will be most beneficial to me in both the short and long term. HR professional,
marketing executive, and operational manager.
Among my talents are my dedication, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and power to act
under stress. All of them are vital in the work positions described. When managing an
organization's personnel, an HR professional must be quick to solve problems. A marketing
executive must establish the best marketing plan for the company's growth via market
transactions (Varga et al., 2016). The operational managers must also be good problem solvers to
deal with operational challenges and conduct out strategic actions to improve processes.
My flaws include poor time management, lack of IT abilities, and poor communication skills.
Developing these talents over time will allow me to improve my prospects in the indicated
professions. Understanding of IT skills is one of the main characteristics of employment. HR,
marketing executives, and operational managers need to be proficient in IT, communication, and
time management. Developing these critical talents, together with my strengths, will allow me to
better fulfil my tasks (Weerarathna and Pintoe 2016). These abilities will enable me to execute a
set of activities at a certain time with the support of technology, thus improving my performance
inside the business.

Progression opportunities
With the above mentioned talents and competences, it is clear that I have strong chances in HR,
marketing, and operations, and it is up to me to apply various types of progression activities to
get the finest function.
While my major emphasis will be on human resource management, I will also work on
developing skills and traits for the other two professions to maximise future career opportunities.
For instance, I would seek training in human resource management, since this would be effective
ways to achieve my professional goals (Ahammad et al., 2020). I will maximise my learning
from different courses to gain a job as an efficient HR specialist in a prominent firm.
After graduation, I will enrol in communication courses to help me overcome my difficulties.
Further I will practise with my friends and parents, asking them to note my progress and places
for growth. I will also study various time management tactics to better manage my professional
duties in the future. I also like to engage as a HR intern in a reputable UK organisation, as this
would help me get valuable experience for my future career.
However, I have discovered that lack of IT abilities is another potential professional obstacle that
I must successfully overcome by concentrating on the many career advancement activities listed
above. I would also strive to grasp the nuances of marketing and operations to aid me if I did not
get suitable HR jobs. Thus, I would concentrate on a broad variety of advancement actions while
also guaranteeing that progression hurdles are properly addressed after I graduate to acquire
future work prospects (Scott et al., 2019).

improve personal competencies. The above report has studied SWOT analysis for personal
analysis. Further career prospect has been studied and their impact on selected career that is HR,
marketing and operation. In the end, the report has studied several progression opportunities and
